Greetings from South Africa.
I enjoy interesting and semi-adventurous things that are not the norm. I enjoy geocaching and I would like to try orienteering. I help my cousin with his group, Snare Aware. We go into the bush and eradicate poaching snares.
I also enjoy postsecret, postcrossing, postcards united and bookcrossing.
At home, I enjoy scrapbooking but it's really difficult to get ephemera and other interesting things to scrapbook so sometimes things come to a standstill.
At the moment, I am trying to collect stamps or coins or anything else from countries that "don't officially exist" such as Greenland, Orania, Somaliland, those types of places, although I love stamps from anywhere. I also like to use pretty stamps in my scrapbooking.
It's interesting to try out different teas. It's also pretty difficult to get postcards here so if you have any spare...
South African mail can sometimes be slow and it's really difficult to find proper stamps, instead of that awful printed out receipt that they use in place of them. If that's what you end up with from me, I am so sorry. I am trying really hard to get stamps but we can't even order online - I've tried. SOUTH AFRICAN POSTAGE IS TAKING SOMETIMES UP TO 3 MONTHS TO DELIVER. IF YOU CAN'T LIVE WITH THAT THEN PLEASE DON'T SWAP WITH ME AND THEN POST ME A 1. I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO RESEND AFTER THE 3-MONTH MARK.
