OK swappers out there.... I received a little package in the mail..... "SURPRISE" with crystals and jewelry making goodies and I love it.... BUT I cannot figure out who sent it..... if it was you or you have any ideas....please speak uP..... it was postmarked in SPENCER, IN.....help!!!! I want to send thanks where thanks are due... I believe it has to be someone in swap-bot because there is a "moomin" sticker on it...... Thanks in advance for any help!!!

NEWSFLASH..... we have here in TX had a big mercury spill in the post office that sorts our mail and gets it to us. So I have received nothing since last Thursday..,,,8/9/18....and there is no promise when the mail will begin again to be delivered. Not to fear all mail does not go thru that building to get to you. So if you haven't gotten a rating from me this is probably why .... I am still waiting for it to be delivered hoping this ends soon...... will keep all informed. Well that was interesting..... GLAD it's over and mail seems to be running smoothly both ways........ THIS HAS BEEN FIXED......

My name is Kate..... and I am really excited about swap-bot..........enjoy everything I get….. after 35 years living in Houston I have decided to move lock, stock and barrel to NW of Dallas….. all for LOVE….

I love all kinds of postcards.... giraffes collect me... just LOVE postcards....animals, flowers, beautiful places... MOOMINS.. (wow my favorite Moomin characters are Snork Maiden Too-ticky the Hemulen and little my)......cartoons.. vintage cards....etc etc etc...

I really like all kinds of MUSIC but am especially enjoy FOLK MUSIC & ROCK & ROLL the oldies stuff. Shake Russell ...Jackson Browne.... Neil Young, Neil Diamond... Elvis.....Joan Baez... Mercedes Sosa.... Gyspy Kings... you get the picture.....

I am a part time jewelry maker...I guess you would call me a beader. I love all kinds of beads, glass beads, Czech beads, wooden beads vintage beads...….and stuff….did I say I like stuff and making ATC's and cards from stuff other people might THROW AWAY….. kinda like say holy crap that can be recycled and re used….. love this stuff!

I love time spent in Thrift Stores and I just LOVE a good bargain and yes you could call me a pack rat as I have everything ever given to me or collected and I love it.....

OH my favorite COLORS are PURPLE and Turquoise.....

I collect Giraffes!!! and folk type dolls....and all things folk/ethnic related....I am an international folk dancer & a Scandinavian dancer also…. Have for now hung up my dancing shoes…..

and I love to spend time at the beach & lake......and WINDMILLS... I just love windmills.....( I don't chase too many though!)

Looking forward to " meeting " you in a swap in whatever capacity.....

I love hand-made things....postcards included! Well someone asked me to write things I would enjoy receiving as "extras"…. I love paper and postcards and cards and bits of ribbon and yarns I am really easy to please….if you wish surprise me!

And the addition of the woodland animals (book?) cutouts are really great, especially how you painted over them to help them disappear into the background. This is a realky great and unique style and it's definitely going onto my collection, thank you!!! 🌞🌻🌳🐿️
Response: Hi... I am so glad you liked the TREE I had fun making it for you and the woodland animals actually came from some very vintage little gift cards I got at an estate sale... I just love them. I really like the way they kinda disappeared but it was the final spray I used to make them mail worthy.... scared me at first but dried OK... and I too liked the look Thank you for the hearted 5 and so honored to be placed in your collection!!

Comment: These mystery supply swaps are a fun challenge. I like the texture you achieved with the modeling clay. I ended up using distress inks as a lot of my supplies are still in boxes somewhere.
