Description:

I dont know about the rest of you but I need some new note/thank you cards. You can buy them anywhere & they dont cost that much. You can get 10-20 for around $4 - $5. Well here is the problem... I'm board with the ones I have & would like to swap them out for some that you have...

You will send out 6 (total) handmade or store bought or both.(to each partner) These should be blank inside or just say Thank You inside. Please do not send more than 2-3 of the same type. This way you can get a nice mixer of note cards or thank you cards.

~UPDATED~ please make sure that the cards have envelopes that fit the cards. Thanks!

If there are any questions please contact me. This is for US only & newbies (with a filled out profile) & any one with a 4.5 or more. If you fill you have been unjustly rated contact me & let me know...

2 partners = 6 cards each = 12 cards total

I'm with you! I have several partial boxes of cards because I don't like sending the same ones over and over again - and then i forget who got what. Anyway, I also know that since we all live in different parts of the country, different cards are available to us. (I know that the ones I used to buy when Ilived in Florida were different than the ones I bought when I lived in Colorado or California. Most of the boxes ones I find in my area in Oregon are rather boring - which may be because of the shops I shop in - or they are too expensive since we have mainly specialty tourist gift shops here. Anyway, I always look forward to what comes in the mail from these notecard swaps because everyone's tastes are different and when the cards are handmade, they sometimes use skills (like tatting) I've never learned. Thanks for hosting this swap, Honeya9705!

Your welcome! I'm glad people feel the same way about sending the same cards!

This is a wonderful idea! I prefer blank cards (for doodles), but both are great. :)

I noticed that this swap doesn't specify that the notecards come with envelopes, which I would prefer. Would there be a way for us to ask for only cards that come with properly-sized or matching envelopes?

It has been updated to say that they need the envelopes that fit the cards.

Thanks!
