Description:

I enjoy cooking, but my recipe cards could use some more excitement! I LOVE having recipe cards that remind me of far off places or of friends and family. Sometimes I just sit down and read through my recipe cards as if they were a book. :-) You too? If so, let's swap some recipe cards to add some spice to our recipe card boxes!

The requirement:

  • Send 5 recipe cards to each of your 4 partners.

  • The 5 recipe card designs may be the same or all different.

  • On 1 of the cards, write a favorite recipe of yours (handwritten if possible). Try to be sensitive to partners' food allergies and preferences, but the recipe is sender's choice.

  • Leave the other 4 cards blank so your partner may use them to write in some of their own treasured recipes.

  • That's it! It almost couldn't be any easier!

Please send recipe cards that are 3 x 5 inches to fit in the average recipe box. If they are handmade, please use card stock so they are sturdy. Any embellishment shouldn't add much to the width of the card so that they may reasonably fit in our recipe boxes! Interesting store-bought recipe cards are fine too. No plain, lines-only cards!

International swappers are encouraged; shipping shouldn't be much for this swap! Newbies are welcomed too; please have a complete profile and message me to introduce yourself. Swappers should have a minimum rating of 4.5 and no no-sends. (If you don't meet these requirements and there are extenuating circumstances, please contact me.) If you notice a questionable swapper has signed up, please contact me.

Happy swapping!

Thanks to those who have joined already. Please spread the word if you know someone who would enjoy swapping recipes and recipe cards!

So far, we have a great bunch of swappers with perfect ratings and one new member with a great profile. There are seven from the US, 1 from Canada, and 1 from Austria. :-)

Thanks for having me in this group.

I love spending time in the kitchen trying new things....with 3 active kids (all in sports with appetites) and a easy-going husband, plus a toddler (not fussy at all)...........keeping them well-fed and happy is a challenge.

We're big on healthy meals (DH is type 2 diabetic.....but he eats a bit of everything), love our grilled meat, poultry, salads, seafood (we're Mediterranean background) and lots of sweets (kids and DH).

Have many, many recipes to share. Let me know what makes your tummy/and your family's G-R-0-W-L (grrrrrrr)

I wouldn't mind if I was sent the bigger recipe cards....4x6 or something like that....I know that around here, the smaller ones are harder to find....

Pansy Suz, I am one of your partners and I have some nice 4x6's...I will send those to you!

I don't mind receiving bigger ones, either. I have 4 recipe boxes and 2 are just for bigger-sized ones.

Thanks

If any of these partners read this.........please let me know if you have any preferences.
