I occasionally send out little extras, however, I do not do this for hearts. I just like to spread them around. ;-) I expect to be rated on my effort with the swap. I will do the same with you. It's not necessary to send extras. If you do, I will thank you, but the rating is based on the swap. If it meets the swap criteria it gets a 5. If it looks like you put a lot of effort into it, etc...hearts!

Oh, and flakers? I will flame you on every forum I can think of and if you are on Ravelry? I'll get you there, too. I have been flaked one too many times and hate that lack of following through on responsibilities. That means I don't like it, so I would not do it to anyone else. If you do not get a swap, let me know and I will fix it. If you are going to be late, just let me know and when you might have it sent by. No big deal.

Hmmm, this one could go on for a while. My tastes are very eclectic. Everything from Jazz, Big Band and Swing, some Rap--yeah go figure, 70's Disco and Funk, 60's except for the Beatles in their pop music era--like Jan and Dean, The Doors, Buffalo Springfield, etc....., some 50's rock and "oldies," 80's? Oh yeah!! And some of the music of today. I love Amy Winehouse (such a shame about her). I really want to try out some stuff by Korn. Pink Martini is cool.

I like cozy mysteries, Vince Flynn, John Sandford, James Rollins, things like that. The occasional historical romance, but I am very picky about the authors.

Knitting books and patterns????? Oh god yes.

Craft magazines, Reminisce/Reminisce Extra magazine. I'm sure there is more I could add here but nothing is coming to mind now. I also read news magazines, but that is more of a chore just to stay informed on what's going on in the world.

All sorts of things! I like Signs, Independence Day, Twister (yeah I know it's weird)

I enjoy watching historical DVD's as well.

I have seriously curtailed my TV watching, but there are some I do not miss: NCIS & Southpark. I more than likely catch Paranormal State, and any of my favorite stand-up comedians on Comedy Central. I enjoy the History Channel and Discovery (Dirty Jobs is fun as is Survivorman). Lately Criminal Minds keeps me up at night...

I am a knitter. I like to do all sorts of other little things when I get the chance. I do lots of ATC's and enjoy doing a "Skinny" now and then. I also like rubber stamping and scrapbooking occasionally.

I love love love to get handmade items! Did I mention I love getting handmade items??

I love postcards, especially with historical or interesting facts about the place on them. I would especially like to get postcards with state maps. Oh heck, I like most postcards!

I love chile pepper images, beads, buttons, fabric, etc... And cactus/succulents! I also like images of other veggies as well. My favorite flower is the hibiscus. Then the chrysanthemum. I like southwestern/desert themes.

Oh, and I am very keen on Sharpies!

Did I mention that I LOVE handmade items?!

If you send me something I cannot use or is not to my taste, no worries! I appreciate that you took the time to package it and send it out, so, I may pass it on to someone that can use it. Reuse and recycle!

I hesitate to add this, as I am pretty easygoing and like a wide range of things. But...

DO NOT send me religious items unless the swap specifically calls for them. If I see in your profile that you prefer a specific religion, I may add those things to the swap. I actually do read a whole profile and tailor swaps to the person.
