No sticker slapping – put some effort into your work.

Be sure the ATC has a sturdy backing. Also, put a nice piece of paper on the back of the ATC and add your name and name of the swap.

NO Flakers and be sure to get your swaps out on time! Please don’t sign up if you can’t meet the qualifications and the deadlines…

Have fun and happy swapping!

The real button will make the envelope not machinable, but that only cost an extra 20 cents. I just thought that I should add that so the envelopes dont get ruined by the postal machine and get lost.

barbieloufromKY 06/ 6/2013 #

Yes...the button will add bulk to the envelope depending on size of button. I usually put a note on my envelope asking PO to "hand cancel" so they don't run the envelope through the machine. And to be safe...add the extra .20 postage....

AZmom875 06/ 7/2013 #

I write Non Machine-able and add the George Washington stamp. I wonder how that bumpy stuff will effect using the $1.10 forever international stamp? I have never asked. I thought if it was under an ounce then it was still the same price.

I always put a small button the bottom left of my ATCs as a kind of signature. That nada rounded top right corner. I hope none of them have been broken in the mail.

sammie91 06/ 7/2013 #

I always put non-machinable on alot of my atcs. Button is still a Washington stamp, even if International.

barbieloufromKY 06/ 7/2013 #

@AZmom875 My post office told me today that international letters are 1.10 up to 2 ounces....sometimes I think it depends on who is working at the PO that day!

BeeMGee 06/ 8/2013 #

I agree..I was paying up to $6.00 from Aus if I told them it was anuyhing but a card. Now I just put the international stamp on and post. Have not had any probs except for a large wooden button.

meggie 06/10/2013 #

They add a George Washington to my international forever stamp for non machinable envies too

fawnscrafts 06/10/2013 #

I made two of them, but adding the final touches, which includes the buttons. I needed to get the thread, because glue will not work well with the ones I made. I forgot when I made them if we need one or two, so I just made two.

Please read the swap guidelines.... Must have 8 CURRENT completed and rated swaps and no “1’s or 3’s” in the last 3 months. I know "life" happens, but in order to do my best to have a good swap for everyone I check the profiles and drop those who don't meet the guidelines. Please don't sign up if you don't meet the guidelines....Thanks!

fawnscrafts 06/11/2013 #

Oh I was so worried you were posting to me. I rushed to look and see if I had an unexpected and unfair one or three.

greenafy 06/11/2013 #

barbieloufromKY- awesome swap idea! Too bad I can't participate. Good luck on this one!

barbieloufromKY 06/12/2013 #

@fawnscrafts I am not talking to anyone in particular...just wanted to make sure that everyone reads the guidelines and to let everyone know that I do check the ones who do sign up. Why did you think I was posting to you? You haven''t signed up for the swap as of now! LOL

fawnscrafts 06/12/2013 #

I was worried that I have a low rating for some reason sneak up on me. I haven't signed up yet, because my roster has been pretty filled. I also wanted to make sure I have the ATC finished or near finished before joining.

Star7Lily 06/14/2013 #

@ beemgee Australia, I too had trouble with differing prices as told by post master general, it appears all international small post cards naked are $1.70. All letters, enveloped cards with any light weight ephemera are $2.60 regardless. You may have to include a customs form if sending in an A5 size envelope. The prices went up as of May. Almost doubled!

perlacraft 06/14/2013 #

hi!! i joined the swap, hope is not a problem the "1" rating i have. (the first and last for sure!) that was becuase some healt problems. thank you=)

willap 06/14/2013 #

Wondered if you are going to be doing one of these swaps USA only? I would surely sign up. Thanks, Willa

barbieloufromKY 06/14/2013 #

@perlacraft - sorry but your rating and the fact that you haven't swapped in several months is a problem....will be dropping you from the swap.

magicinker 06/16/2013 #

New Product! A Global Forever Stamp is being introduced to send a one ounce letter or postcard to any country in the world for $1.10...the international postcard rate is the same..Here we use this stamp for both ...

magicinker 06/16/2013 #

OH, I wanted to add - It's a circle stamp ! Ha Ha !

barbieloufromKY 06/16/2013 #

@magicinker A circle stamp? I can't wait to see that one - I don't think they have every made anything but square or rectangle!

Karmi53 06/17/2013 #

cutesygirlynai 06/20/2013 #
