Australia is in lockdown with international mail at a standstill. Hopefully we can all reconnect on the otherside. Earlier this year I had major surgery after a very debilitating medical episode late last year. Sadly a 3 rating was given to me in a group which I dont often swap in and while under medication sent out a late swap and did not fulfil all the swap reqirements. I do not have the strength to challenge the rating and my 1000+ 5s speak for themselves. I shall ensure I only swap with those I have built strong swap relationships over the years. Long story but we have all been there. Life just gets a little complicated. Anyways I am now retired (for now) so back into the crafting. Just sorting out all my stuff and getting organised. Looking forward to chatting soon.
Victor Harbor, South Australia is a very long way away from the rest of the world...next stop Antarctica! My swaps can sometimes take awhile to arrive and can also sit in a post box waiting to be stamped for awhile! Please do not panic if I have not rated your post for up to 6 weeks. ( Just received one in May posted late December) The postal system seems to be crawling at the moment. I am continually amazed at how reliable it is given the distance from me to you.I have had the very occasional loss. The longest wait was 12 months! I have found patience to be a virtue so particularly if we are regular swappers I am not going to give you a bad rating but trust that it will get here one day. It's always great to communicate though so a quick message is appreciated if you are concerned and I do love a chat! I am a Mum and Wife who loves a crafty challenge.
Who would have thought a simple card would have started this 7 years ago. Nearly all my swaps have been with ATC and cards, mainly because of postage costs.
We live in an idyllic seaside town right down at the bottom of the world in South Australia.
I have made some very special friends and swapped with some very gifted artists on here. Thank you to each and everyone!

I appreciate anything people have put effort into. I am not good at freehand art ,drawing, painting but appreciate other peoples talents. I love vintage images. I prefer feminine, elegant, whimsical art. I like butterflies, birds, bird cages, candelabras. , flowers,. Some days I like vintage colors, the next Moroccan brights. I love new techniques..mixed media, embossing, spray inks, My latest love it embossing enamel. I love flowers on everything. My most expensive addiction is to Graphic 45 papers. I am trying to collect many of the discontinued papers.
I am a Breast cancer survivor. I have just had my 10 years since diagnosis. I am in the process of having 2 hip replacements. I down 1 to go. One supportive husband who is the nicest human being I know. He is a model train layout fanatic and also collects old matchbox toys from the 50-70s. My adult children bring me great pride both beautiful human beings. Sorry to you all but I have the most gorgeous grandson on earth. Nothing brings more happiness than that little voice running in the door...hi Grammy.

I rate and give hearts firstly for effort and secondly because they are free and you can never be too kind ! My Christian values and faith are very important to me.However I am not judgemental or particularly opinionated. I believe in love and living at peace with all. I try to show respect and treat fairly all without judgement. I find that kindness and acceptance are easy to give and I enjoy bringing joy to others . Please do not send that which may offend. ( Wicca, Pagan, Violent, Ghoulish) I do enjoy "nice"halloween themes and fantasy.

The "Vintage Café Group" wishes you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Bev, thank you so, so much for the wonderful assortment of laces, ribbons, and trims...you are a wonderful Fairy Godmother; I treasure every bit of it!
Bev, I absolutely love the way you decorated my puzzle pieces -- thank you so much!
Received your puzzle pieces today. Will get working on them. :)
Hi! I put my puzzle pieces in the postbox yesterday afternoon -- hopefully they went out last night but if not, they'll definitely get picked up this morning. I was going to enclose them in a card -- but they were at the edge of the postage band and adding a card would have added a pound (around $1.77 AU) to each envelope so I carefully removed the card from each envelope! I'm really looking forward to decorating other people's puzzle pieces and to receiving mine back. A fun swap!
Hi Bev - puzzle pieces on their way to you! xx Dee
Thank you for the wonderful tin full of goodies!
