Description:

I was looking through my things and realised, I just don't have enough pride items in my room! So this swap is help share those pride items.

Unlike my last pride swap, I'm not limiting this to purely LGBTQA+ people, but obviously you have to be entirely respectful of every aspect of LGBTQA+ to join. My reasoning for this is that I don't feel like you need to be LGBTQA+ to appreciate pride items, and people may also want to give what they get as gifts etc...

This swap is for one handmade item, that is not flat, that is themed with an LGBTQA+ pride flag. The obvious one would be rainbow theme, but feel free to make any pride flag related item (provided it is strictly LGBTQA) - I'll leave a list of possible flags at the bottom of this swap.

Please rate a 5 if you receive a non-paper based , handmade pride item. This swap isn't for ATCs, envelopes; and if you're sending something small like button badges or fabric patches at least send 3.

As a reasonable gauge I would say spend at least 2 hours this swap (but really it's as long as you need to make something lovely for your partner. I know with my crafting ability it's more likely to take me 4 hours+ to make something I'd be happy to send). Add at the very least a small note, but feel free to write a full letter.

Also it is sender's choice but it would be nice to check your partner's profile- at least dislikes to check that what you're making will be of use. For example please don't send earrings to someone without their ears pierced, or something along those lines.

Also although you may send any LGBTQA+ pride flag item, feel free to put any preferences in the comments.

Since this is a time intensive swap, my rating requirement will be a 5 ( have set the rating filter at 4.98 for cases that I feel should still be allowed in the swap-- but if you have under a 5 rating please PM me), and I would like at least 20 completed swaps (at least 10 of these need to be type 3). If you don't quite reach this then PM me before joining and I will consider each case individually (for example if someone has a 4.99 rating or something and/or exceptionally good reasons for their rating I am likely to let you in). If I don't let you in I may also consider doing a private swap with people.

I will angel, but obviously I hope that I will not need to.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message me!

Posting links with underscores in this doesn't work. :/ Swap-Bot makes them into italics. Try this instead:

[ words to describe link ] ( put link here inside the parentheses )

But take out all the spaces! That should make a clickable link to the URL.

Oh thank you so much! I'll repost the comment with working links.

Some awesome ideas for possible pride crafts I have found:

Asexual beanie

Rainbow bracelet

Genderfluid scarf

Rainbow hearts pillow

Bisexual flag necklace

Rainbow Narwhal

Pride embroidery

I got a little carried away but I hope this is useful inspiration for people, although this is by no means the extent of what you can make.

I am not any of the things listed above, but I support everyone's right to be free to be what they are or want to be. I happen to be hetero, but I do not judge anyone for what they are. I love this swap and will probably completely spoil my partner with crocheted goodness! I am full on my dashboard now, but I WILL sign up in a day or two!!!

Asexual--that's me! I don't mind having rainbow things either, though, if you have your heart set on rainbows (I never say no to those, it's just Ace stuff is much harder to find). I also have a crazy strong inner bear pride streak. So I'd be happy with an item relating to any of those flags.

I can tell you right now, I would scream with delight for a cat eared ace beanie. But if that's not your crafting expertise, no worries. I want you to enjoy being creative and making whatever you like best!

Damn it, I don't qualify with my rating!!!

I wish I could join this so bad. But I don't know where any of my craft supplies are right now. Maybe if you ever do another I will join!
