Description:
This is the rebirth of the "Halloween Fun In A Jar" swap! This was originally hosted by Cupcakeit, but due to health issues she is not able to host it anymore. So I decided to host it instead. This is a swap for a jar full of Halloween goodies! The jar should be a minimum of 8 oz, and be stuffed full of Halloween treats from candy to fabric to whimsy to anything Halloween related. You will be sending one jar to one partner. It doesn't have to be a glass jar, plastic is fine or even a cute container! Please make it something you would love to receive, though. Please spend a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $10 (not including shipping). Please post below if you have any allergies or a vegetarian, prefer no candy, etc, so your partner can be aware. This is a swap open to anyone in the U.S. and Canada. Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile. I will be checking before I assign partners, probably around the 18th. Please have more than a few lines so your partners know what your interests are! Established swappers with at least a 4.7 rating are welcome, too. Please no no-sends in the last month. If you feel you were rated unfairly, please PM me.

Can we use a plastic jar? It would avoid the issues of opening a package to a broken jar.

Plastic is perfectly fine. And honestly, if you don't want to send a jar, a cute container is fine too!

Thanks for keeping this swap going! I had been really looking forward to it and was sad to see it canceled. Plus I had already bought some goodies for it...;) Oh, and to my future swap partner, no candy for me please. It's in my profile too. :)

Hi, I'm a newbie, but have good ratings over at MUA. Since I'm already in another Halloween swap, I prefer light on the candy with this one..a few Tootsie rolls or SweeTarts would be fine. I also like stickers, buttons, pins, flower seeds,anything vintage Halloween...hand-crafted or store bought is fine. Question for Raylyn: Is there a minimum and maximum to spend on this? like at least $5.00 but no more than $?? so we all get something pretty equal?

i am so excited about this swap, it will be my first jar swap! I love love love chocolate. I don't like any fruity fillings though like cherry or anything. I love red candy like red jolly ranchers, gummy bears, skittles heck I just love candy. For some reason mainly the red ones though. No coconut please, I am allergic. No licorice, hopefully I haven't left anything out.

I had already collected some goodies to put in my jar, but most of them are on my partner's "dislikes" list. That'll teach me to be proactive. ;)

I love all kinds of little things, nicknacks, crafting stuff, candy, whatever! Think of how mice and crows will collect shiny things for their nests. =) Any type of material for the container would be fine. This will be so much fun!

I am super excited for this swap! please advise, don't send me any unwrapped candy, and no candy corn (yuck!). Other than that Im good to go!
