this is an international swap**
this is an online only swap**
the idea is this,
i am really inspired by the website "day zero" 101 things to do in 1001 days project ( http://triplux.com/dayzero/ ) cut and paste the link ( its one thing on my list to finally learn how to post clickable links on s-b,lol) OR click the link above
BUT i have been known to procrastinate and sometimes reality gets in the way of my life!!!! and my swapping....
AND for me, i work best when i have a deadline so...enter this website!
everyone who signs up for this swap will create their own "list" and the swap will be this ......follow your partners progress thru e mail and snail mail, writing them letters and notes of encouragement.
lets say for example...your partner wants to learn french, you can send them a page from a french dictionary or a postcard with a line or two in french as a reminder of their goal!
*when it comes to ratings you will simply rate your partner a 5 if they have completed and posted their list on the site by the "send" deadline...then the rest is really up to you!
so i guess its sorta an on my honor and kindness thing....and also a 1001 day commitment, if you will:)
i have set a 1 month "send " date from the "signup" date so everyone should be able to get to writing in good time their 101 things list.
important note* you will need a blog ( there are many free bolgs out there) or website or a myspace type thing to do this and it must be viewable by the public...but all the details can be found at the day zero site!
if this is confusing just post questions in the forum and i will try to answer them as best as possible,
no flakers, newbies welcome and if you have ratings they must be 4.8 or higher with zero no sends , as always if you feel you were rated unfairly, just e mail me:)
