Swap Coordinator:Susi (contact)
Swap categories: Food  Postcards
Number of people in swap:46
Last day to signup/drop:April 20, 2009
Date items must be sent by:April 27, 2009
Number of swap partners:4

Here's how it works:

Just take a postcard, homemade or store bought, and send a recipe on it. It can be a recipe for anything. Soup, dessert, cocktails, main dish, whatever you prefer, but it must start with the letter of the swap. This swap's letter is "T". You will send the (1) postcard with a recipe to (4) partners.

The postcard itself does not have to have a recipe on it. The postcard can be of anything at all, but instead of writing a note you will write a recipe.

The postcard should be stamped and mailed. Do not use an envelope unless your swap partner requests it.

This swap is open to all, International is encouraged so we get lots of different recipes, newbies are okay with a completed profile. No recent no-sends, no ratings less than 4.7. (Or PM me if you have a good reason)

Don't forget to put the name of the swap and your name on the postcard so your partner can rate you!!

*One last note. The alphabet idea is just to give us a direction. If you miss a few or if we've already started and you didn't start with us, don't be afraid to start up. The idea is to spread delicious recipes across the world :)

*I will not be able to angel this swap

I am so excited to join. I have never been in any kind of a swap before, except for a cookie exchange. Never on the internet. I am very interested in cooking and baking in general, but enjoy baking treats for my grandchildren and grown children. And both my hubby and I love our sweets too. Can't wait for the swap to begin!

I've gotten only one -N- recipe card so far. It was a very quick very simple recipe that will come in handy in the very busy Summer months. I am anxiously awaiting all my new recipes. I don't want anything that uses mushrooms otherwise whatever my partners want to send is great.

Is it OK to send the same recipe to each of the 4 partners?

This is a great way to use some of my post cards that I have been hoarding! I hope I can think of good recipes starting with a T!

I had intended to give Kari a heart for her postcard. I thought I had done so. Today I went in and added the heart! Sorry, Kari!

I mailed my cards a few weeks ago, handed directly to postman in neighborhood. But I just heard that a couple have still not arrived. I will redo them this afternoon after I pick up a few more cards from the hospital gift shop. That's a whole nother story. It is a great recipe!

I've received 3 postcards so far. Maybe I was on your list of partners, SharkDudette?

Guess I was wrong...sorry SharkDudette! I just received my last postcard from Sleepingrover 2010. I should say it was a great postcard too.

I hope everyone got their cards. I love the ones I received, I finally got to sit down and look at them today. Newfie, I got one of yours! Great recipes everyone. Love this swap.

I see you did, SharkDudette...good! I don't know if my 4th partner rec'd hers, since I only got rated for 3 postcards
