Hello there, nice to meet you and thank you for looking at my profile. I'm a newbie but I'm hoping to get involved because it seems like a great idea for a site.

I am a 52 year old woman from Weston-super-mare,

a typical English seaside town.

I have three grown up children, two boys and a girl but no grandchildren yet, I'm hoping! instead I have ....

I work in an office now but when i was young, I went to art school and did some book illustation. I still think of myself as an artist and enjoy all things arty/crafty. I do craft fairs with my mum

(who can knit anything in the world.)

Like I said, I'm not grabby or picky but I don't like..

• bullies and con artists
• spiders and creepy crawlies
• clowns (mildly phobic--eek!)
• chick lit (no Joanne Harris, Sophie Kinsella or Marion Keyes for me!)
• neutral colours, browns, creams, greys etc
• offal (Ok, you probably won't be sending me that anyway!)
