i have been looking for a hip hop swap for a long time now and have never seen one. maybe im just missing them. anyways for this swap you will have 2 partners and send them each one cd. it can have hip hop, r&b and maybe even a little rap. if u dont like vulgar lyrics dont join. i know this will be fun! please include a track listing! ratings of a 4.9 allowed newbies with a filled out profile and international because cds are cheap to mail! if i forgot anything else let me know :) happy swapping! edit:// i changed the dates cause im going on vacation the week of the swap, but ill be back in time to assign partners! hope more people join! :D

do they have to be current songs that are on now or can they be older ones?? not like hella old like 10 years lol but old ones to where we might be like o YEA lol??

i put in da club by 50 cent on mine i consider that old haha i was like 18 when that came out and im almost 25 so sure :)

If my partners want to send me rap, I love it. I hate Top 40 "Hip-Hop" like 50 Cent but if that's all you have then I'm okay with that :)

Some of my songs are 10 + years old - I think there are some really great jams that are older, I hope no one minds. I think this is a great CD (although I am biased lol)

I'm open to pretty much anything music-wise. I love R&B, soul, neo-soul, rap, hip-hop, whatever you got. I just got my master track list together, and I'm burning the CDs now. Can't wait to see what my partners send me!

I missed this swap, but thought you guys might appreciate a funny rant by DJ P (pioneering "blend" [mashup] DJ ... google "Uneasy Listening, Vol. 1" if you're unaware) about how mainstream "hip-hop" is DEAD. It's ultra-hilarious!
