This is a fun sewing swap for any level seamstress. We all have a bag or basket or box next to our cutting table overflowing with little pieces of fabric from our favorite projects. Let's put together some of our favorite fabrics into a fun gift for our swap partner. The sky is the limit on this swap. It can be a little coin purse or a more elaborate project. Please try to push yourself to try something new. A zipper or buttonholes if you have never done them would be great! Try to do your best work. Simple rules Use at least 2 different fabrics. Remember this is scrap basket time so no large pieces of fabric. Use your imagination. Any embellishments are a plus, go crazy with buttons, ric rac etc. Have fun. There are lots of tutorials for pincushions, coin purses, handbags on the internet. Try something new and let's have fun. You must have a good rating for this swap.

I would love it if someone could make this for me from some fun scraps! My ipod measures 2.25 x 4.25 inches (.75 thick). If someone wants to make one for my cell phone that would be cool too, it measures 2.25 x 4 (a little over .75 thick). I can give more detailed dimensions if anyone wants them.

anything you want to make as long as you use 2 fabrics and it's sewn.

As a newly joined member of the group and still a beginner Im looking forward to this one. A doorstop would be really useful(just the cover, I can add the filling myself and save some postage) or anything really.
