Summer is about to start for me, and I am looking forward to doing some swapping! Just FYI, Saturdays tend to be my Swap-bot day, so I usually dont rate/check messages until then........

Hi, Im Rachel,Southern Gal,musician,travel afficionado,fellow crafter,homeschooling Mommy to one(hopefully more someday),married to the love of my life for 11 years,and more recently college student(Im soo nervous!) I live in a zoo, where we have 2 dogs Boomer and Squirt, two cats, Figaro and Custard, a cockatiel, Baby, and a Bunny named Lulu. They were all rescued animals who were dumped on the street,etc.......Im not much of an animal lover, but I am starting to warm up to all of them(its the cleaning up part that I hate....lol) It all started when someone from from postcrossing.com referred me over here to swap postcards.Soon I started delving into stickers, and eventually worked my way into crafts. I have always been a crafty girl, just enever really had a reason to do it until I came here. I soo enjoy making and receiving things from all over the world. I have done it all, from ATCs, to inchies,papercrafts, but I would have to say that currently my favorite two crafts are art journaling and altering things. I love giving new purpose to things that would otherwise be thrown away

I have several things that I am passionate about which include my faith(Christian),my music, crafting, and nature/traveling,just to name a few.

Music is everything to me.I live by the Hans Christian Anderson Quote "Where words fail,Music speaks". Its my favorite quote of all time. I love anything craft that is music related,song sheets, hymn sheets,altered CDs,etc.

I enjoy mostly christian music,jeremy Camp, Third day, Flyleaf, Mercy Me, Addison Road,Tenth Avenue North, things along those lines. I love praise and worship music,Hillsong Australia,etc. I like a little bit of country, none of the beer drinking, cheating stuff, mostly the classics george Strait,John Michael Montgomery, Alan jackson, Brad paisley,etc. I am an aspiring musician, and write songs,etc, so music is very important to me.Oldies are always good. I DO NOT like heavy metal/alternative

As for themes,if you are making a profile themed object, I love anything travel themed,outdoors themed,historical themed, and the like.I am a huge hisstory and geography nerd, anything history related fascinates me.I also enjoy victorian, rockabilly, steampunk,etc, so i have very varied tastes.....lol

My favorite color patterns and schemes are black and white, red,green(but not red and green together)neutral colors(any shade of brown), and earth tones(think outdoorsy/fall) I am not too big on floral scents, I mostly like food type scents

I pretty much love to make anything, but it all started with scrapbooking. Right now, I looooooove to alter just about anything and give it new purpose and meaning. I am also getting back into dotee making, journaling is another fave........

I have decided to do mostly group swaps and private swaps from now on, I have been getting flaked on wayyyyyyyyy too much. I especially love to trade with people from other countries. I love to give hearts........however, please note, I do not give them for sending an item early. Here recently i have received alot of things that were thrown together and not taken there time on. I would rather have you take your time on something and have it be a little late, then get it way early and look thrown together. I also give hearts for profile extras. It means alot to me when I receive a package where I know someone has taken the time to read it. If you havent received from me,please be patient, especially if it is international(imparticularly Canada, i have had a package take like 8 weeks before!!!)I always try to contact my partners if they havent rated after a few weeks,but if I havent pmed you, please contact me before rating.

Also, I tend to get a little antsy about whether packages make it or not, so please rate promptly,especially if it is an international package. Thank you soo much =0)

Also a note to those I am swapping with: I am a beginner in alot of things. I have been doing paper crafting for years, and am trying to expand a little.Please keep this in mind when receiving your items(esp if sewing is involved.....lol). Please be sure you check your postage, i have had quite a few postage due swaps lately........

last but not least, with summer coming closer, I am cutting back on the swapping just a bit.I am trying my hardest to stay below 10......lol. I really want to focus on some quilting and use up all of the scraps I have laying around.

Since it is happening more and more frequently, I figured I would post them here(at least the higher stakes ones anyways).Would love a few angels.........I am especially bummed about the Christmas one.
