Spring time is almost here and it will be time for spring cleaning. This swap is for one knitted or crocheted dishcloth made of 100% cotton (no acrylic or luxury cottons!). Extra dishcloths and other goodies may be included, but only one dishcloth is required for the swap. This is for US only and no one with a 4.6 or less or with a no-send in the last 6 months may participate. Thank you!!

Does anyone have a VERY easy crochet dishcloth pattern online that they know of? I'm so much a beginner I can't even tell you, but I am watching the swap...

You can request to join Ravelry [ravelry.com] once accepted [takes a few days] you can browse through free patterns :) Lots of beginner stuff on there :D And kudos to you-- I love to knit, but I can't crochet to save my life!!

so, what do you like most about a dishcloth? Really cool colors or a neat pattern? I sometimes like just a plain garter stitch that shows off great colors.

i love a really nubby textured cloth. the raised box stitch is my fave knitting pattern. i use my cloths to clean my counters and the texture helps scrub off the messes my kiddos make!
