Description:

This will be a journal of all questions only. You will purchase a journal of a minimum of 100 pages. All pages will be filled with questions. There should be several questions on both sides of the page. Leave space under each question for the person to answer. You can have between 3-5 questions on a page. Once again, it will depend on how much space is needed for the questions. The questions can be anything or everything. Please try and be clean with your questions.
If the journal is 100 pages, then you would actually have 200 pages filled. Please put your info. in the front cover for your partner.

Rating:
Ex: Rifka has Laurie and sends her a journal of questions. Laurie then fills it all in and sends it on to her partner who then rates laurie for completion. If robin does not send a journal to laurie, then laurie can rate her a 3 for not completing the swap. This way everyone gets a rating.

Please be serious about this, as people are spending a lot of time for this

Any questions, please feel free to contact me. Because people need time to answer the questions and mail out, please be considerate and give them time to do this and not to hasty to rate low for being a bit behind.

4.6 rating and I will look at any one's you may have. I have the right to drop anyone from this swap. Newbies are welcome.

Happy Questioning!! Enjoy.

Neat idea! That's a lot of questions! LOL

mamatoallie 07/14/2009 #

What size journal and does it need to be nice and pretty or altered?

ifluctuate 07/15/2009 #

too bad this does not include canada? it's only a notebook, so i would love to join if you would open it up to canada as well.

rifkasorah 07/15/2009 #

The journal size can be a 5x7, 8x11. Some journals already have designs, pictures on them. You do not have to alter.

cynaemon 07/15/2009 #

It looks like these would have to be questions requireing really short answers. It usually takes me a whole page to answer one question. Also, can we make the journals? I love making journals. Thanks

rifkasorah 07/15/2009 #

In the journal I am doing now for a pal, I am leaving 3-5 spaces under the questions. Once again it depends on the question. Some questions may require only a yes or no, or circle which one type of thing. Sure, you can make your journals.

rifkasorah 07/15/2009 #

A few people asked me about the amount of questions on a page. The more the merrier, but if you believe the question may take up a half page or so, feel free to put just one on that page.

Rubyfreckles 07/18/2009 #

so how will the ratings work? because receiving the journal back would be part of the swap...

marukawa 07/18/2009 #

cool! i just bought a new composition book, and it has EXACTLY 100 pages. perfect! :3

adding this to my watch list! <3's

rifkasorah 07/19/2009 #

Rate according to rules when u get yours back--must have used both sides of all sheets, 3-5 questions per page unless answer needed a longer response.
Hope that helps. Write me if you have more questions.

Rubyfreckles 07/20/2009 #

You can only rate the person who sends to you originally, not the person YOU send to... some I am still confused. :(

rifkasorah 07/20/2009 #

You are to rate on receiving the journal and making sure it is done properly-All pages have questions on them and obviously received.

marukawa 07/24/2009 #

a 3 for a no-send? i thought those were 1's? @w ;

rifkasorah 07/24/2009 #

someone said to me 3's were nicer, but 1's for a no send is correct

secretterrabite 07/26/2009 #

Do we send the journal with the questions at the sign up date, so the receiver has the time to complete? I wouldn't want to receive it quite late and only have a week or so to answer 100 questions.

Jesshens1125 07/27/2009 #

So, let me get this right: I write my journal full of questions and send it to "sarah". Sarah get the journal and answers my questions, then send it on to her partner. I recieve a journal and answer the questions and mail these answered question to Sarah as well? I then rate the person who sent me the journal with the questions i answered on completion? So we are mailing two journals to our partners?

KimberCow27 07/27/2009 #

Wow! I just did the math in my head and I realized how many questions!

I would suggest getting started right NOW! =P I know I am... I'm shooting to be able to send right after (if not the day) we get partners assigned, just to give them enough time to answer and send them back... or however we end up doing it!

rifkasorah 07/28/2009 #

You will send your journal of questions to your partner to fill out. They in turn send their partner the completed journal to be rated that it is completely done and finished. Everyone will get a rating this way.

My journal has 192 pages, so actually its 384 (back and front) I have between 3-5 questions on each pages depending upon the answers.

You can get questions from myspace and facebook surveys if you have trouble.

Journals can go out on or before send by. I will state to be patient on ratings, as people neeed time to answer and mail.

KimberCow27 07/29/2009 #

I wonder if they have to be QUESTIONS, or inquiries? Like one big hulking Facebook survey? I'm noticing I want to start a lot of mine like "tell me about..."

Would that be okay?

I decorated it a while ago and am having fun coming up with questions to put in it! I was going back and forth on whether or not to decorate, think of if my parter would send a decorated one, but I decided I should 1) so it doesn't blend in with any other notebooks they may have laying around and B) hopefully it will be a great conversation piece... and a good reason to tell people about Swap-Bot!

=P

I am a little confused... This is my first swap like this and I want to make sure I get it right.

so, 1st - write questions in notebook. 2nd - send notebook to partner. 3rd - I will receive a notebook with questions 4th- I answer questions 5th - I then send notebook with questions and answers to MY assigned partner? Not to the person who sent it to me? 6th - I will receive a notebook with questions and answers from someone else and I rate the person who wrote the questions?

Do I send the Notebook back to the original owner or keep it?

Will I receive my original notebook back with the questions answered?

I know this is probably easier than what I am making it...just want to make sure I understand. Thank you

KimberCow27 08/ 3/2009 #

@Jec0646 You've got it right! =D You're keeping the notebook, NOT sending it back to the original owner. You will NOT receive your original notebook back, but another from your sender's sender.

Whew... But you've got it right in the little paragraph. Another for anybody else would be Alison sends Megan, her partner, the journal she's filled with questions. Megan answers Alison's questions and sends it off to Hilary, her partner. Hilary checks to make sure everything was done correctly, rates Megan for completing the swap, and keeps the journal. Hilary does not send the journal back to Alison.

Although, I suppose if you really wanted to have your journal back you could go through the chain, but it's not a requirement.

Tink1204 08/10/2009 #

I was all excited about this swap till I read all this and finally figured out that you don't get the journal back. What is the point if you don't get to see the answers to the questions you asked of your partner?

rifkasorah 08/12/2009 #

Tink, I see your point. you can request your journal to be sent back to you. I am sure the partner will do that for you. If you join, put a note in the front of the journal asking for it to be returned once it is checked.

Rubyfreckles 08/30/2009 #

What happens if you never receive a journal with questions in it? Then you have nothing to send your partner to rate you on, even though you did the first part of the survey? aye yi yi...

Rubyfreckles 08/30/2009 #

first part of the swap* i meant

rifkasorah 08/31/2009 #

If you dont receive a journal at all, contact me and I will deal with it.
