STATUS:: Canadian Girl, 27 years old I'm engaged to my boyfriend of 4 years. He proposed on May 31st, 2008 We are getting married on September 12th, 2009!!

WORK:: I work as an emergency care animal attendant at a veterinary emergency hospital. I work nights and sleep most of the day. My hours are crazy and I see my co-workers more than my family and pets! On the side I have my own pet sitting business AND am studying Dog Obedience, Behavior and Training through distance education. I might be a bit of a work-a-holic. Crafting keeps me sane.

PETS:: I have one brown/grey tabby cat named Champ, a rescue kitten named Sampson, 2 cockatiels Pearl and Wuzo, 1 Redrump Parakeet Nipper, a rosie bourke named Twizzler and a Sun Conure parrot named Tiki

I like: - taking pictures - house mouse, charming tails (or anything mouse related) - suzys zoo - snowmen - sharpie markers - themed brads - cats - schnauzers - scrapbooking papers, stickers, embellishments - my fave animals: wolves, parrots (especially cockatiels and sun conures), my cats, and mice. - body sprays - LOVE chocolate (no nuts!) white and milk chocolate are my faves - itunes - STARBUCKS (love their scones and chai lattes) - colours: red, orange, brown, grey - bath bombs (especially from LUSH) - socks (size 9-11) in funky colours and designs. - I love comics, especially Peanuts, Mutts, and Zits!
- Toys for my pets are always welcome! - coloured duct tape (blue, red, etc) - vintage images (can't seem to find them around here though!)

I love antique shopping. I also enjoy garage sales, flea markets and thrift stores. I regularly check out the local salvation army. I love finding little things I can add to my scrapbooks or other paper crafts (pins, knobs, key holes, keys, hat pins, little plastic charms or pendants, old rabies tags, vintage bird images). I also like hunting for porcelain or ceramic realistic dog and cat figurines, especially ones that look like MY pets. My last antique excursion I picked up an awesome white bird cage which I plan to use at my wedding for envelopes/cards. Just need to sand it and paint it!

Scrapbooking, card-making, rubber stamping, altered matchboxes, ATC's. I'm learning how to sew...right now I can only make square cat nip pillows (cat toys). My guys love them!! Starting to make them for other peoples cats as well.

I am a TOTAL movie Junky! 12 Monkeys, 21 Grams, Dirty Dancing, Step Up, Grease, Ghost World, Donnie Darko, Music & Lyrics, The Notebook, The Guardian, Girl Interrupted, Saw series, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Die Hard series, The Recruit, Wedding Crashers (this movie is hysterical). Also recently loved Chronicles of Narnia (both so far) and Sex and the City: the movie!

Modern and Classic Rock - pretty much anything that's catchy. Some dance stuff is ok.

• black schnauzer figurines (ceramic, pottery or china)
• vintage images or old magazines I can get vintage images from... especially of children, women (50's style) cats and dogs, christmas and halloween
• any vintage halloween or christmas decorations or ornaments...I love to decorate for both holidays! I especially love black cats, bats and pumpkins for Halloween. For christmas anything is good, just nothing too religious!
• antique christmas cards/postcards, halloween cards/postcards the older the better. Valentines too!!
• white clay parrots that hang on the wall (tinges of silver or gold is ok, but nothing too colourful)
• old lock holes and knobs that would fit nicely on a journal...any kind of metal is fine, even if it looks dirty!
• wooden drawer units (any size) that resemble old card catalogue units.
• miniature cat or parrot figurines...about an inch or two tall in any medium (wood, glass, china, ceramic, etc)
• cigarette/cigar cards the ones with parrots/birds on them (look a little like mini playing cards)
• oval black or silver picture frames (the kind you picture in old victorian homes) that can hang on the wall...the more detail the better, but plain is good too!
• rabies tags or other tags that may have hung from a dog/cat collar
