But with the send date the cards wouldn't reach any international destinations by Christmas. (At least I know they wouldn't coming from Canada :)

Yes they would. When I send international, usually about a week, maybe two. It seems cards/letters move faster. Now, Canada is a little "extra" slow sometimes, but not always.

No they wouldn't. You should allow AT LEAST 2 weeks for international mail, make it 4 during holiday season. I'm in Russia and mail from USA takes 4-5 weeks at normal time, and there's always slow down before Christmas.

I'm a bit the same, last year none of the Christmas cards that I sent after the first week of December made it to their destinations before Christmas. The same with cards sent to me, I was still receiving Christmas cards that had been sent mid december well into January. I would love to send out and receive 20 cards but I'm just a little concerned given my past experience with send dates last year that I wouldn't receive mine in return prior to Christmas if they weren't posted until Dec 11th from other countries. Even now most of my international mail takes 2.5 weeks from the USA and 3 - 6 weeks from other countries.

I do not agree with the dates but, I am putting on my watch list for now. This is in case the dates are changed. I do not want my partner receiving my cards in the year 2010 or myself.

ok, I've changed he send and signup dates......so you can send between November 27 & Dec 4.

Thanks so much for changing the dates @ozrob I'm really looking forward to this swap. I think I like receving Christmas Cards in the mail even more than I do presents on Christmas Day, lol :-)

depending on the number of participants if there are less than 20 by sign up day then I will adjust the number of partners to match the number signed up

ButterflyDreams 11/10/2009 #

I'm watching at the moment but will sign up closer to the deadline date :-)
