I'm a fair swapper and I always send my swaps in time. When they're received it makes me happy! However, with my 15 years of international mail experience I know that sometimes snail mail can be slow, and sometimes things get lost. I have no influence of these things (I wish I had!) So please, please, please if you don't get something talk to me about it before giving a poor rating! I already have more than enough of that thanks to the failings of mail system, and I don't want more at all. :( Just talk to me and we'll figure something out. I am always willing to resend.
I'm looking for category sticker slam swappers! I prefer nice & neat booklets with challenging themes.
Some things that I love are lilac gardens, old wooden houses, catching snowflakes on my mittens, having plants around my home, good grammar, polka dot blouses, wiggle dresses, elegant earrings and brooches, when my home is filled with sunshine, robots, sitting on the windowsill, common sense, sleeping in, meadows, shooting film, my family, exchanging sarcastic remarks, hand cream, reading, SNL, Hausmann buildings in Paris, flower markets and corner rounders.

I collect written & stamped Christmas postcards. My main focus are Soviet postcards (1930—1991), but I love all years, all countries. Please no religious themes though. If you happen to have old unwanted Christmas postcards I'd be happy to take them from your hands. I will take care about them, put them into albums and arrange in chronological order.

Top favourite subjects:
Please don't send me:

Tea: Please no green or red teas, I don't like them. Disliked flavours are mint, lemon, cinnamon and vanilla. Now that we're done with bad things, let's move on to those enjoyable. My favourite tea flavours are blackberry, orange, passion fruit, indian spice, blue cornflower, thyme. I like fruit and herbal teas a lot, esp. if they're mixed with black tea. I love trying new tea flavours, but I also love good quality no-flavour black tea, esp. Darjeeling and Ceylon.
Food: I have no food allergies.
Food dislikes: anything mint; liquorice and most other chewing candy; liquor-filled chocolates; coffee; seafood.
Food likes: everything else. :D I like chocolate a lot. My favourite fruity flavours are banana, peach and strawberry. We get some foreign brands of food here in Moscow, but mostly I guess it's safe to send whatever is typical for your area.
Items: I'm specifically looking for the following:

I also LOVE Saturday Night Live, esp. Weekend Update.
Eternal Summer, Donnie Darko, Love Actually, Beautiful Mind, Fight Club
I'm 29 and my native language is Russian. I live in the outskirts of Moscow and spend a lot time in the office. In November 2012 I decided to leave my job of five years and try to build my life a new, a life that would make me happy evert day. It's a big decision for me and I'm scared, but I'm really looking forward to it! I'm hugely into all things Soviet. I do enjoy vintage things in general, esp. the 50s. New Year's Day is my favourite holiday. In Russia, we celebrate Christmas on January 7 and it's a purely religious holiday, NY's is the biggest holiday of the year. I don't mind you wishing me Merry Christmas though, I automatically translate it as "Happy New Year". :P
A word regarding my 1. It looks like my swap was simply lost in the mail (it happens!), but unfortunately my partner failed to communicate and let me make it right. One of my other swaps was lost in the mail, but after I resent it my partner changed her rating to 3.

Hi Katya
Just a nice greeting from your friend from Holland.
Many thanks for the thank you postcard, Katya - it's a great picture - I always wondered where that snow outside my window came from - and why it's still coming down - someone else is spring cleaning!
Meredith
Dear Katya, what a good news! I have always admired your photos: you're a very talented girl! if you can do something to change your life, please, go ahead. Katya: I have a little New Year parcel ready to go but I'm not sure if you'll be able to get it, as I'll be sending it by registered mail - maybe your family can pick it for you? Write me a few lines back. I'm sending you good vibes. You rock :D
Thanks for the heads up on your swap. I did look at it before. I'm more into stickerbooks than the slams. But thanks for thinking of me!!
I think I have 2 category sticker slams and 10+ fill a page type stickerbooks. Some of the fill a page ones are "themed" like Disney, autumn, holidays, etc. Would you like to set it up?
If you are interested in doing another swap, I have a few category and themed stickerbooks to swap!! I would be looking for only stickerbooks in return this time. Let me know!
Yeah, I know what you mean. It does get so expensive to mail big packages, especially international. I should send some new slams out sometime in the middle or end of the month. I'm kinda on a swap break at the moment, so I'm just working my way up to more swaps.
Yay! Such good news to read. I'm really glad everything reached you safely :} and happy to be included in your flickr set too!
Hi Katya, thank so much for the slams and sticker books :-) They arrived 2 weeks ago, but I was waiting till I received your swap, to let you know. It hasn't arrived yet, but it shouldn't be too long. Thanks again!
Yeah, that's fine, I will take the FBs. Then, soon as I get the books I'm getting in a swap, I will send them your way. (Provided you haven't signed them, inwhich I case, I will make new!)
