Description:

Due to the success of the first one, and as I feel you can never have to many aprons...... here is it again with a slight twist:

1 partner, send 1 aprons and one other item that you feel relates to being a domestic goddess (could be anything, maybe include a note as to why you included the thing you did). Ideas: something to drink for those relaxing moments, fun cleaning supply or solution, favorite recipes, organizational item, something funky for your kitchen, you get the idea.... just be creative. There is no dollar amount.

Are you one of those people who loves aprons? Who looks at cool ones at stores, online, etc and thinks "I want that one!" even if you already have a number of aprons. For this swap we will be making/sewing/creating an apron for your partner. Think Domestic Goddess or Jessie Steele Aprons for example, something you would want to wear that makes you feel wonderful and sexy and maybe like cooking dinner is a special occasion, not just something you HAVE to do. =) Not something that you think, "I only wear this ugly thing to keep food off me while I cook", but "I wear this to look adorable while I am creating my MASTERPIECE in the kitchen!"

You will have one partner and will have 2 weeks to creative a darling creation all of your own for them. Feel free and find fun patterns (I have a couple of Amy Butler ones as well as some Sew Liberated ones that are adorable and I just haven't make them as I couldn't rationalize making it just for me). Please check out your partners profile for color preference. Otherwise have fun! You must have completed 10 swaps and have a 5.0 rating for this swap as people will be putting time and effort into each creation. Any questions let me know!

Can it be a half size apron? Or does it have to be full coverage?

Any type of apron is fine!

I'm still a few swaps short of the minimum, so I can't this time, but if you would send me a message when the next one comes up, I might have enough swaps completed to join in. I'd really like to try!

I'm hosting my own right now so the turn around time is a bit short for me. Otherwise I would LOVE to join.....maybe next time.

Just a thought-- once partners are assigned it may be helpful to inquire about height, waist, and bust, just so nothing isn't much too loose or tight. It would be a shame if a bib hung to someone's belly button, or a sash was too short to tie comfortable around the waist.

could we recycle and redecorate a thrift store apron?
