My roommate is: LAURA. She loves big sunglasses, the song "Tiny Dancer", summer, beer, the beach and traveling. Her job is to raise money for an environmental orgaization. She loves her job. She's vegetarian. Originally from a small town in Ontario. She would love to hear about actions you're taking to save the environment/critters who inhabitant it, or she's love to hear about places you've traveled.

My husband is John. He loves me, being a Dad, ice hockey (Bruins & Canadiens), reading dramatic plays that won Pulitzer prizes (just read "Proof" & adored it), the New Yorker magazine, milk chocolate, all physical activity, black and blue gel pens, Diet Coke, any sports on tv, the colors purple (his favorite) green and blue (forest and navy) and our little son, Yosef, who is 2-1/2.

My house mate is my Mom, Carla. She'll be 55 years old on August 27th. She works from home in the medical records field. All of her kids are grown and out of the house (except for me at the moment. It's a long story.) She has 3 doggies that she loves dearly, a dachshund named Roxy, a Chihuahua named Zoey, and they just got a new puppy, a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix named Millie.

Things my Mom would like to receive:

• Teas (factory sealed since they're going through the post)
• Notecards or general greeting cards (handmade or storebought, it doesn't matter)
• Scrapbooking materials (papers, brads, ribbons, etc.)

• Hahaha, she has a crush on Bradley Cooper, so adding in a few magazine cutouts or printed pictures of him would be pretty hilarious.

My mom is a lot like me--she's not picky and she LOVES anything handmade. These are just merely suggestions. Just keep in mind that she is older and a Mom, so nothing x-rated, with lots of swearing, or otherwise inappropriate.

I'm signing up for my husband William (same last name as me in my address when you get it). He LOVES tea, we drink so much tea every day. He also knits socks (he was inspired by my addiction to knitting he just wanted to start and now he's addicted too!), his favourite colour is purple, he dislikes cats, but loves dogs, squirrels and ducks/geese. We live on the edge of a forest and like to go hiking and go feed the ducks and geese. I think he'd really like to get some mail addressed to him for once, its pretty rare that he gets any mail (all bills are in my name), but he marvels in all my mail that I get, and often wants to be around when I open it... he gets just as excited as I do!

If she has house mates, it's all one address. So nope, no roommates using SB at the same time. Which really sucks, but I guess I kind of see why. It isn't foolproof, but I guess it's better than nothing. Wanted to sign up myself, but DH isn't too keen on getting mail from people he doesn't personally know... :P

I am signing up for my husband Derek. He loves anything original and/or wacky. He owns a bright yellow suit (with the beer caps from his 19th birthday still in the pocket), he wears cartigan sweaters that are way too small for him, and doesnt own a pair of unripped boxers. He has been seen walking around our house naked by our neighbours, on more than one occassion. He always manages to say or do something rediculously awkward in public, and is beyond clumsy. Just yesterday he accidently hit me in the face with a ball, twice. He hits his head off anything within head reach (and is completely bald, which is trying for a head smacker..:P)..he is an amazing father, outrageously patient and insanely caring. He longs to travel with me at his side, and for a collection of old shiny cars. He is obsessed with Ford, and dislikes GM, immensly. He likes tattoos, pin up girls, asian inspired anything and coffee. We live at the beach, so he likes nautical things (beach scenes, beach signs, lighthouses, boats, rocks, etc). He adores anime, and japanamation. He is also, hilariously, a sucker for anything that will make life easier (Slapchop, electric can openers, Roomba - oddly enough, we own none of them..lol). We eat almost entirely organic, and it's important to us to eat as locally as possible. He looks forward to one day living in the country, and thoroughly enjoys renovating. Overall, I'm madly, rabidly, insanely in love with him and think he's just downright fabulous, and deserves to get a lil somethin' fabulous in the mail! My sister's name is Debbie Smith. I have moved her in with me and am her caregiver. Deb is disabled and pretty much bed-ridden. She likes WWF wrestling, butterflies, old-time sitcoms, (Andy Griffith, Lucy, etc.) MUSIC of all kinds, NCIS, babies, magnets, and loves people. She likes to look at pictures of most everything but she can't see the really small tiny stuff, so make it larger images please. (like, multiview postcard images are usually too small) Her birthday is Aug. 9 ... she'll be 51.

My boyfriends name is daniel or Dan. we have been together nearly 9 years!! he is in 3 bands and plays the drums and guitar he loves metal music especially MANOWAR and norwegian black metal. his favorite colours are black and green and he LOVES sweets and treats espcially ones you CANT buy in the UK. He also collects anything to do with manowar + smoking rolling papers packets from around the world. She is in LOVE with Ireland. She recently just visited it this year. She's getting a celtic knot tattoo sometime this year as well. She loves it so much!

She is currently in Japan for the next two weeks. Her room is COVERED in japanese everything! she has japanese words all over her wall and has reviews sheets for learning japanese language on every spare inch of her wall. She's hoping to become an English teacher over in Japan. Although she's now thinking she wants to live in Ireland instead!

She loves stickers but I'm not sure what she's use them for.

She loves tea! She's not picky about kinds at all.

She's a vegetarian and likes to eat all organic things. She wont eat anything with high fructouse(spelling?) corn syrup in it or hydrogenated oil.

I am signing up my daughter. Her name is Satina and she is 4yrs old. Everyday when the mail comes she becomes very upset that she has no mail. Occasionally her father will send an "I am thinking of YOU" card and she jumps up and down and dances singing "oh oh I got mail!" She loves coloring pages, stickers, magnets (animals and numbers and shapes), her favorite colors are purple, red, pink, pink and orange, she loves any kind of characters from Disney channel or Nickelodeon.(Dora, Diego, Phineas and Ferb, Icarly, Spongebob, Mickey Mouse, etc. Satina's favorite movies are Hairspray(new version with John Trovolta), Grease(also with John Travolta), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and the Goofy movies. She loves to sing and dance and things she has to be the center of attention. she loves bracelets and necklaces. Her favorite activity of the day seems to be story time. She loves books with a passion! She is learning to read and spell.

If no one minds making a 4yr old extremely Happy, I know that she will gladly draw a picture and mail it back to say thank you.

My roommate is Danielle she is a vegetarian and likes vegan recipes, flowers, gardening, biking, reading, old ephemera, old weird movies, cassette tapes, vhs, but will be happy with almost anything you send her. She has a masters in social work and works with disadvantaged children. She is a wonderful person and will be very happy to get some mail!

Alright, my mum (Susan Rawson) is my housemate for this swap. She use to sew and quit for a while but wants to get back into it. She also loves quilting, cooking, reading murder mysteries, and watching Top Chef. She is a christian, so any christian-ey things would probably be good. Her favorite color is red, and she loves beading (turquoise stone beads are her fave).

I also have another! So someone can choose between the two..one might be easier than the other! (My previous comment was about Kelley)

This one's for my bf Greg.. He is very passionate about music but doesn't play anything! He is currently starting to do yoga and has been reading a LOT lately. He likes mainstream books mostly...anything fiction that a lot of people have been raving about. (He likes things like Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, The Uglies Series, The Eragon series..anything fiction and really good!)

He's into massage and food as well. He doesnt watch any tv but he's a movie lover. So maybe a list of unique movies would be good? he has seen a ton! He likes candy but doesn't eat a lot of it at a time. He doesn't really eat anything unhealthy.. like soda. He does like tea tho! A lot!

He loves loves loves incense. Not so much candles..but incense. He's always up for trying new scents.

He's a minimalist & loves modern art graphics (like stuff with lots of colour and shapes)

And very recently he's wanted to start an Herb collection!!
