Description:

Let's see if some of you will be interested in this? :) I've recently visited Glastonbury and have felt so inspired by the place (surprised, anyone??? :D) and have been writing and creating ever since... Writing is the point here... You will write a letter for your swap partner, handwritten please and sent via mail (not email).

The theme is pretty much simple - but I'm sure what you make out of it will be special. A Letter From Avalon Imagine that either you yourself or maybe a character you come up with suddenly gets the chance to step through the veils and get a glimpse of Avalon. Maybe they get swept away by reading a certain script, or by visiting a place, eating something special... the choice is completely yours. Now it's up to you to tell what you or your character have seen? Maybe they only witness scenes, maybe they find their calling, maybe they spend a day there...

The letter should be 2 A4 paper sizes - you can write on smaller paper of course, but please write about that amount. And logically no huge three words on each page... ;) you know what I mean.

Please make this a creative and exciting swap. You don't need to be a super-author to think up a story. We all share a love for this theme - let's share a little something here.

Please use some nice paper, not just a scrap (unless you choose your letter to have undergone a very dramatic journey, maybe it got halfways burnt or something... well, that's fine then :)). You don't need to include anything extra, but if it fits your story, well, why not?

Questions? Leave a note here or PM me.

I've never done a letter swap before and need to ask: the dimensions of A4 are slightly different that the U.S.'s standard 8.5 x 11 inches so is that still ok to use? Sorry to be such a noob.

Hi loriglen - it doesn't really matter, the size of the paper doesn't have to be exactly A4. I know the sizes vary, so it's difficult to difine ONE. :) I just mentioned A4 to give an idea about how much everyone should write. You can write on much smaller pages - but write enough... I don't want to restrict this to a paper size as something totally different may fit with your story... :)

Have my letter ready. Looking forward to that old snail mail magic. Love this idea. thank you Naurwen. I really liked Glastonbury when I was there too.
