Just so you know:
I always rate the day I receive. No exceptions. I always leave comments.
I am not a flaker.
I limit the number of swaps I join so I can make the best possible item I can, not twenty mediocre items made quickly to meet the deadline.
To my swap recipients:
I will no longer be sending extras for most of my swaps. I feel my hard work speaks for itself with the quality of ATCs that I make. It's just gotten too disappointing to go through all the work of creating an extra profile-based ATC and not have it acknowledged as I would have done if I had been its recipient. Some of you reading this will understand what I mean, others will not. It's not meant to offend.
I love anything medieval (knights, castles, dragons, etc.) and anything fantasy related (fairies, vampires, gothic themes, wizards, etc.) I like magic related themes (wizards, spells) not pull-a-rabbit-out-of-a-hat magic.
I've been drawing since I was a teenager, and crafting before I could walk. :)
I love making and collecting ATCs.
I'm a perfectionist when it comes to anything I make.
I do NOT like bling. I will never be accused of being a girly girl or a diva.
I'm a 20 year cancer survivor. I'm 42 years old.
I'm married and have two teenagers...one boy, one girl...and I have gray hairs as a result.
I do web design as a hobby. I enjoy digital art but I like paper and scissors much better.
Jacqueline Carey - Kushiel series. I've read all of her books and I'm the webmaster of one of her fan sites.
Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth series Jordan/Sanderson - Wheel of Time series
Anything about the Arthurian legend(s) or the Knights Templar.
My wonderful husband recently bought me a Kindle.
Music:
Journey...I'm their #1 fan :) or at least I would like to think so.
Art:
Luis Royo, Nene Thomas, Victoria Frances, John William Waterhouse
Television:
SyFy channel, specifically Warehouse 13, Eureka, Star Trek (TNG is my fave).
I used to watch a lot of HGTV when they had more programs than just home improvement and design shows....grrrr!
I like watching the Judges (Judge Judy, Judge Alex, Divorce Court).
I enjoy watching Food Network cake challenges.
My all-time favorite tv show is Seinfeld.
Movies:
SciFi, Twilight series, anything set in the medieval time period. My all-time favorite movies are "As Good As It Gets" and "City of Angels".
Likes:
-anything Medieval, Renaissance, especially swordfighters and knights
-Asian influenced art, especially those portraying geishas
-flowers (husband is a gardener). Especially those hand-drawn, painted, etc. Not stickers or die-cuts.
-Mythology, of any culture. Especially if the ATC incorporates what the God/Goddess represents.
-ATCs representative of world religions
-Metal embellishments. Especially found items or hardware store stuff that you wouldn't normally associate with crafting.
-Anything Pink Ribbon. (I'm a cancer survivor but not of breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon campaign is the only identifable cancer support group.)
-Anything colorful, especially bold colors (I'm not crazy about pastels). Example: a bowl of marbles or gumballs. Lots of color all together. Love that!
Dislikes:
-baby theme, holidays, Christian theme, occult theme
-stickers (I don't use them)
-ribbon (I have way too much already)
-not getting comments on my work, just a rating
-swappers who mark their swaps as sent but don't mail them until days later
Comments
Hey! Just saw our Skyrim comments from some months past and thought I'd follow up ^_^
I'm playing a one-handed elven sword wielding conjuration and restoration alchemist, with occasional blocking, destruction magic and archery. How about you? Have not been playing as often as I would like, but I'm almost level 25 (playing on normal). I'm loving this world! I think it is much better as a game than Oblivion, but Morrowind is still currently my favorite of the three. But the dynamic quests and improved NPC dialogue is awesome, though I miss the speech mini game from Oblivion. <3
Thanks for being a member of the Crafting Queens~
I totally promise I will let you know about my character after the game comes out! I usually like playing as a Breton for the magicka boost, since I enjoy playing as a mage for the most part (with some shortsword, light armor and sneak skills too!). I admit, I definitely take advantage of a merchant glitch (the alchemist seller in Balmora) in Morrowind when I start up a new game now to up my gold and lessen the tediousness of the beginnng after Seyda Neen.
ANYWAYS, so excited for Skyrim, the dragon shout skills sound interesting, as well as the customizable duel-fistedness for casting and fighting at the same time or dual casting spells, etcetera. DRAGONS!! Yes. Anyway, we should definitely talk more of this as the day approached. :-D
Happy 2 year SB anniversary! A little late I know but happy, happy nonetheless! :-)

MERRY CHRISTMAS from The Crafting Queens group~
Hehe...Steve Perry, that's funny! Anyway I am soooo happy you liked the ATC. It was my first collage, I was inspired I had no plan just started gluing and somehow it turned out like that! I wanted to send it to someone who would love it, I was only able to part with as ATC are for trading in my mind and not for hoarding, art is not art until you pass it along to someone who will love it. And it makes glad to know you do. Thanks again for the awesome logo and have a lovely day today my friend! Hugs, Sher.
You are so very welcome, I loved making the ATC for you. I love this series and I enjoy seeing how people interpret each of the Houses. Take care, Sherie.
Yay! I am so happy you liked the Merlin ATC! I do try to draw what I can, but I am so untrained that sometimes I doubt my work, but I do enjoy it so I will keep trying! You are such a wonderful person I look forward to swapping with you soon! Happy day!
Thanks for signing up for the Alyssum House ATC! I was hoping you would like this one! :-)
Thank you for joining the Fleur de Lis swap for KoA! So happy to have you! Blessings, Sher.
