Description:

So spring is on the horizon! Well maybe not yet, but the rabbit tracks are out in the snow. So I found this bunny and there's a wardrobe to go with him or her! So make a bunny for your partner!

Pants or a dress as they travel in this weather would be nice, so list in comments whether you expect:

  • a boy!
    OR
  • a girl!
    OR
  • au natural so you can dress it yourself!

It'd be fun to make a Raggedy Ann bunny!

girl please! I love making dolls and animals--especially bunnies so this will be fun.

Ok I tried out the pattern last night using materials from my craft stash. Pretty simple... I think it would be classified as a primitive doll? I believe the bunny looks better with clothing so I made two little dresses. I left the third one naked until partners. :)

With a little encouragement from Terry I've found the courage to join!!! I can't wait to make a little bunny love!

The bunny pattern is pretty easy Molly! And if clothing is your worry and you're struggling, you can always make clothing out of felt. It's so easy to work with and you no fraying. ;)

@vintageveronica I adore the faces on your buns, so sweet. Not totally sure about the faces on the ones in the pattern, I think yours are more adorable!!!!!

You may alter the faces. That's part of making it your creation!

As for clothes, think of all the different fabrics in your stash or even in your closet!

I would love a little boy...

It would be fun to make the bunny in a pattern fabric & clothes to coordinate. Or maybe make one with a costume from another culture or era. Too fun! Count me in!

I'd love a girl :)

I wanted to mentioned something about the pattern. I think the head on the pattern is a tish small. I think the bunny looks better if you add an extra 1/2 inch of fabric around the head. The bunny in the fair right of my photo has a head the size of the original pattern. I increased the head size for the other two and I think the look a bit cuter. Just wanted to throw that out there!

Here's the clever little bunny I received from Leame. IMG_5735

And here's the bunny I sent. (Her dress isn't quite as fancy as Leame's!) IMG_5500
