About Me

I live in country Victoria, Australia, on 150 acres with my partner, Chris. Chris has two kids in their early teens, together we just have lots of animals.

I am in my early 30s and find there is just not enough time to try and do all the things I want to.

In my "spare" time I work as a project manager / project engineer / water savings officer / whatever else they want me to do!!!

Animals

I love animals. We have cattle, sheep, goats - angora and dairy, a pig, a llama, geese, chooks, ducks, horses, a little dog (big dogs don't respect me and I kinda don't understand them), 2 cats and LOTS of bunnies (including a new angora one for spinning of course)! I am currently in the process of fencing paddocks for my horses, repairing the chook shed, making a rabbit yard, etc...

Gardening

I like pretty cottage gardens, my current garden is just getting going and is a dreadful mess!

Sports / Hobbies

  • Horse riding (just hacking)
  • Skiing (very new to the sport and if i don't fall over at least a dozen times a day it is a miracle! but it is sooooo much fun)
  • Dancing (Rock 'n Roll).....
  • Sailing

Favorite Crafts

  • Sewing - pretty girly things mostly (just a novice).
  • Knitting & crochet (basic stuff)
  • Woodwork - I like restoring old furniture and boxes and stuff
  • Other - I have played around with a welder, dabbled with jewellery making, made a little soap and tanned skins
  • I have recently bought a spinning wheel and a drum carder, so I am experimenting with our mohair and merino
  • ATCs

Comment: Hello Michelle, Sorry I have been so slow in getting your rating done for this swap. However, I do appreciate you being so patient with me. What a treat I was greeted with when I opened your envelope and found the 2 teacups and 1 teapot. Each and every ATC was created with a lot of thought and care. I love how the teacups had matching colors of other embellishments--one thing I especially liked was the lace under the cups. Also, the use of ribbon, buttons added a lot to them. The teapot ATC with edge lacing added to it. I am excited to add these 3 ATCs to my ATC collection. They are just really FUN!
