I hope everyone is enjoying this swap as much as I am! I will try to keep this as a regular monthly thing, as long as it is successful. If anyone has suggestions to change it up a bit let me know. But for now we'll keep it the same.

Here are the rules of the swap for anyone new.....

Each participant will be assigned 3 partners and will mail 1 bookmark to each partner. Bookmarks can be store bought, homemade, or a free one from the local library. Homemade bookmarks must be neat! If you prefer something specific, feel free to leave a comment below, but this is still SENDER'S CHOICE.

If you receive a bookmark rate your partners a 5, even if it is not something you requested.

*Newbies welcome!!!

I loved making the last three bookmarks!! I just sent them off and am ready for my next 3!!

Momskii 02/14/2011 #

I loved doing the bookmark swap also, but I am still waiting for my third bookmark. I am hoping its in the mail. I am willing to do this again. It was fun and I have made a couple more bookmarks since then. thanks for doing this

SewMagic 02/17/2011 #

I'm signing up, but I'd prefer a handmade book marker b/c you took the time to carefully make it with love and thoughtfulness!

atlantian 02/19/2011 #

Hi! Just wanted to let ya know I would like homemade for this swap. That is what I will be sending. Have a fantastic day!

RaineyDay 02/26/2011 #

Are the bookmarks supposed to be a certain size or does it matter? Thanks.

foreverpackrat 02/26/2011 #

I love making bookmarks and I enjoy receiving handmade ones in return. Please keep them flat, not too bulky. Any size is great!

JanaD 02/27/2011 #

I think handmade is always best. But I love all bookmarks!

LilyM 02/27/2011 #

I prefer the homemade but store bought is OK.

pahunt925 02/27/2011 #

I am not going to sign up right now. Looks like most of you want homemade bookmarks, and I don't do homemade anything right now.

craftqueen 02/27/2011 #

I prefer homemade bookmarks.

pinkrenegade 02/27/2011 #

Just joined and I will do my best to make a bookmark. It would likely be ..in addition to :o)

paperfairys 02/27/2011 #

i love making & recieving hand made bookmarks , im in :)

pedal2u 02/28/2011 #

Where do I find my swap partners, or amI too anxious? My book marks are ready to go!

mrstaylor 02/28/2011 #

Have to agree with pahunt925. This would be fun, but I do not have the time (or skills) to make them. :( The stores always have such beautiful ones, but would not want my partner(s) to want handmade and I not be able to do handmade.

leticiaaff 02/28/2011 #

Ahh I'd like to join this one, but it's US only ._.

pahunt925 02/28/2011 #

well, I am going to join. It does say senders choice. So, if you get me as a swap partner, you won't be getting anything handmade, but I do have some nice storebought book marks that I will send.

evieroz 03/ 2/2011 #

You are right pahunt925, I think you should join and like you said senders choice. So send a storebought bookmark. That should be up to the individual.

UnfoundedHope 03/ 3/2011 #

Handmade is nice, but store-bought is ok too!

SFreer 03/ 3/2011 #

I am not fussy, so send whatever you wish my way...I have one handmade one, one store bought, and one undecided as of yet...

fawnscrafts 03/ 3/2011 #

I would not want a free one.

If I go to the trouble of making one, and get a cheap paper freebie from the library I would feel cheated.

That is what has prevented me from joining this.

I have some handmade and some store bought.

If the rules about the freebies change, then I will sign up.

Ginger 03/ 3/2011 #

I'm new to swap bot and think this swap will be fun. I hope to get homemade bookmarks though. I am going to make the ones I send out :)

namabear 03/ 3/2011 #

I love all bookmarks. I like the magnetic ones the best.

SwappinGina 03/ 3/2011 #

I'm sorry, I hope no one thinks I am trying to be ugly but I feel I need to leave this comment, due to the numerous messages I have received regarding this swap. As I stated in the rules, "If you prefer something specific, feel free to leave a comment below, but this is still SENDER'S CHIOCE"! Remember that not everyone is capable of making a bookmark. Please be nice!!! If you don't want to take a chance on what kind of bookmark you will receive.....DON'T JOIN!

SwappinGina 03/ 4/2011 #

Yay!!!!! Has anyone else noticed we are #2 in Top Swap List?

turtlelady45 03/ 4/2011 #

I love bookmarks so any kind--home made, store bought, from a business, etc. will be GREAT! Thanks!!

marinejean 03/ 4/2011 #

I Love inspirational/love books marks, but any would do! I love frogs, butterflies, and fairies might be nice! =)

lorepuckett 03/ 4/2011 #

I dont mind the freebies at all, especially ones from local book stores if you shop there or libraries if you check books out. those places need all the traffic they can get! ;)

dardarbinx 03/ 6/2011 #

Well I did it!!!! I sent home made book marks! I hope my partners enjoy!

craftqueen 03/ 7/2011 #

I like handmade ones.

ladybug 03/11/2011 #

I hope my partners like hand made bookmarks. I had a lot of fun making them and I hope you enjoy using them. Great fun swap. Have a super day guys!:)

A word of advise to myself....be more organized! Luckily I save my swaps as I am so impressed by the talent and ideason this sight. I neglected to rate a partner. Advice to partners message me if you don't get ratedI am sure it if it ever happens again it will be an error. I believe ratings are very special for our efforts.
