there are many online word counters out there.

Also, 200 words is approximately 2 paragraphs. Piece of cake!

I like this word counter. Doesn't delete your words after it counts them. http://allworldphone.com/count-words-characters.htm

The signup date and the sent-by date are 1 month apart, not 2 months...?

kristyrogers 06/ 6/2011 #

I gave a month before sign up date and a month until sent by date. 2 months from swap's post.

Mine is written and ready! So fun!

It is a bit misleading to state that people have 2 months to write their story. I know very few people here who will do a swap before partners are assigned because the swap host could disappear or delete the swap. Having said that, though, I think 1 month is plenty of time to write a short story. (";)

Down to 1 month now :) Will be assigning partners on the first day I can.

Just sent my story off. Hope you guys like it!

Interesting: it says up above that there are 14 people in this swap, which means we should all have 13 partners, but I was only assigned 12 partners. When I checked the participants list, howevere, there are only 13 participants, not 14. Must be a systems glitch.

One thing I've learned from doing e-mail swaps - if you don't get something from a partner, check with them before you rate them negatively because some e-mail programs will send stuff to spam and they'll never even realize they received it. :)

@kristykirkpatrick I just wanted to say this has been a brilliant swap. Thank you for running it! ^_^

Last time I am doing an email swap with so many partners - it's a nightmare to keep track of who has rated you, and I had 2 non-raters plus 1 flaker. Bleh.
