I'm a mom of two little munchkins (daughter is 6.5, son is 3.5) that I have a blast hanging out with. I've been married for 11 years. I've lived in Alaska for most of my life, minus some years in Connecticut, New York, Oregon, and California. I was an elementary teacher before becoming a mommy. Now I homeschool my first grade daughter and we LOVE it! I was the art teacher for my dd school last year.

If and when I get time to myself I like to:

read,

do anything art related,

take photos,

play with photoshop CS3,

do anything that gets me outside in nature.

Been dabbling with organic gardening this summer and found respite in my greenhouse. Just wish our summers were longer.

I love Colors! All sorts.

Favorite season is Autumn, I miss the giant assortment of leaves on the trees in New England.

I love textured and handmade papers.

I like Rub Ons.

Love traveling. Geography in general.

I'm addicted to hot tea (all sorts) and red wine.

Though I do like a good Stout now and again.

Oh, and Stoli Martini's - three olives.

And Gerard Butler. All Yummy!!

I love making snowmen with my kids.

I love blueberry picking in the mountains.

I love cooking and inventing new recipes that I never write down. I don't measure when I cook. Measurements are like Time - all relative.

I love homemade salsa, Mexican and Italian food. But currently I'm experimenting with Vegan foods.

I function better with music in the background.

I'm a little (okay a lot) ADHD. at least I never get bored.

Other likes:

smells of the carribean and sand in my toes,

the sound of my kids giggle,

snorkling,

Christmas ornaments,

I collect funky chickens (Poultry in Motion).

I like to do puzzles and play word games.

And lastly, if it weren't for the Grace of God I would be.... non existent.

Full Disclosure/ Nonnegotiable - I am getting the impression that there are several folks into the pegan/wiccan stuff..... I have NO - ZERO interest in such things and want nothing remotely related to pegan/wiccan practices!!! I'm not judging, I just have different beliefs and would like them respected. Daughter ~ 6 yrs. old ~ Very loving and has a great imagination. Loves to sing to her own made up God songs. Learning to play piano. Loves to draw, paint, and color. Likes stickers, horses, Polly Pockets, fairies, unicorns. Likes watching Disney Princess movies. Most favorite princess is Ariel. Favorite color is blue but she also likes purple and pink, red and orange. Definately NOT brown or black.

Son ~ Will be 4 in December ~ Has a wicked giggle and is still a snuggle bug. Loves sharks and anything underwater related. Favorite Super hero is Spiderman. Also likes fishing, hockey, Hotwheels, dinosaurs, Thomas the Train stuff, Playmobile toys, wooden blocks. Favorite color is Orange. Also likes black, and white, and red.

Vintage labels (cigar boxes, food related, non- food related, beer and wine labels, Anything with an artsy design).

Old stamps,

handmade paper,

pressed flowers,

old buttons,

match books from obscure places around the world.

And most coveted would be real Maple and Oak leaves (bigger the better, and fall colors a BIG PLUS).

What I currently do NOT need is cardstock/scrap papers. I have it coming out my eyeballs. I went through a paper phase - it's over.
