Hi Friends, I am catching up on all of my ratings right now and I am finding that some of the Christmas cards that I am receiving do not have the swap title on them and it is hard for me to find who belongs to what swap. If you have not been rated perhaps the reason might be that the swap name was not on the card. PM me and let me know what swap the card was for and I will rate right away. Also please do not rate me with a 1 or 3 if you do not get a card from me. Message me and I will send you a new swap or postcard. Maybe two. I always, always send out my swaps. I am very reliable. So if it doesn't get to you it is because it is lost in the mail. Once it goes in the post office I have lost all control over it. So the only thing I can do is send you another.

I have been married for the past 21 years and have two beautiful children, a girl who is 20 and a boy who is 14. Right now I am not working so swapping takes up most of my time. I have gone through some bouts of depression so I do go to a group at my health facility. It meets five days a week but I only go on three. The other two days I take a computer programming class that my best friend teaches. I don't really know if I go just to spend time with her or if I go to learn programming. I guess a little of both. But it is going to take me some time to learn the programming. Part of my therapy, my therapist said is to get involved in things so swapping does keep my mind busy. So does the programming. Weekends are hard so if I am not at my son's basketball games then I am postcarding, ie buying postcards all over town, completing swaps, rating or trying to organize them somehow someway. I love postcards and love to have them from all over the world, ones that are representative of the area where one lives. But I love other postcards too.

Some of my hobbies are knitting, crocheting, arts and crafts; especially color pencils and by the number pictures, singing in the choir at my temple. I also like to make jewelry. My current thing is using African paper beads found at beadforlife.com. They are so unique and different and I mix them with beads that I find at craft stores. I also like iris folding and plan to make some cards for a future swap.

My favorite colors are pink, blue and lavender. I also am a big cat lover. I have a 6 year old cat named Sparkle and a 2 1/2 year old cat, named Bella. I also love puppies.We have a Yorkie named Mia. She is about 2 years old. She is so cute and loves to play with Bella. I love nature. So that's about all from me. If I think of something else I will add it.

I basically like alternative music and inspirational music. Also yoga type music which I listen to to fall asleep. Also I have gotten into Enya. I also love show tunes. I am really into Wicked right now. It's in town now so I hope that I can go and see it again.

I am not a big reader, however, I have read a lot of Danielle Steele books. I guess you could call these romance novels. I do read a lot of magazines. I love magazines like Women's World, First and Health. Other books are self-help types. I am hooked on diet books and love religious reading, especially books dealing with Judaism. I like biographies also. I read about Queen Latifa and now I am reading about Ellen Degeneres.

I haven't seen a lot of movies lately. But I think my favorites are comedy/romance/drama. I really liked Driving Miss Daisy and the Notebook. I like movies that make me cry. I know that sounds weird but for me it is a release of feelings. I love Queen Latifa and see everything that she is in. I really liked the movie The Help and that was the last movie that I saw. I hope to see some of the Christmas movies coming out.

Reality, reality and more reality. I can't get enough. The latest sitcoms have really bored me. I love Survivor and have seen all of them. Big Brother as well. The Biggest Loser is also great. I am really getting into reality shows on Bravo, Top Model, Real Housewives and a new one that I saw tonight NYC Preps. I have really gotten into Law and Order and CSI, all of them, Miami, NY, and Las Vegas. A & E has many of them in a row. I also love America's Top Model. Tyra is a favorite of mine. I WATCH A LOT OF TV. Most of the time though it is on mostly as white noise while I am cleaning or doing swaps. I also like all of the crime shows. Criminal Minds is my new favorite. This season is really good. Also Law and Order SVU.

I can't tell you how much I love receiving postcards from all over. I like all kinds of scenes from anywhere. I like buildings, special tourist attractions, beaches and lakes, multi-view scenes where there are three to four views of different places on the card, mountain scenes with snow, street scenes with restaurants and shops, and any other that tell me about where someone lives. I also like animal cards, kittens and puppies or dogs, transportation and really any card you send will be special to me. I love greetings on the back, quotes, a little about you or whatever you want to tell me.

I celebrate the Jewish holidays and even sing in the choir on those holidays. But I still like to send out cards for Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, as well as Jewish holidays. I do participate in celebrations that others have for Christmas and even like to have one of the Christmas cookie swaps at my house.We do put up a tree and do Christmas as we always did this for my mother-in-law and the kids got use to doing it. My daughter is perhaps the best tree decorator I know. She should work for a store decorating the trees. I also love postcards that show a city decked out for the holidays or any card that has a holiday on it.

There probably isn't a postcard that I wouldn't like except snakes and lizards so I would not want anything with that on it. As far as what I would like to swap would be stickers, any kind but especially cats and dogs. I also like scraps of paper especially giftwrap. I do Iris Folding and love different kinds of paper. I also like scrapbook paper. I guess it really depends upon what swap that I choose to be part of. I also like to swap greeting cards that are written on. I never really receive that many cards, especially during Christmas/Hanukkah, but this year was really different with all of the swaps and groups that I belong to. I am so thankful for my postal pals.
