I just received your original "my favorite photo" swap sent in November! The photo is very, very beautiful! Thanks for the (unintentional) extra photo!

Kathleen: If you have electricity after earthquake, please post that you're OK.

Hi there, Kathleen! :D Thanks for the nice comment you wrote - I'm glad to hear that it is warm in New Zealand. I hope you're enjoying it to the fullest! :) I'm very excited for this swap - I love writing poetry and I haven't had the chance in a long time. It will certainly be fun preparing and sending your letter! Also, it is so great to hear (from reading your profile) that you and your family are safe and sound after the earthquake. Have people been able to save some of the buildings? How is everyone doing these days? xoxo, Kitty

Happy Holidays From Shutter Me Up

The year-end brings no greater pleasure than the opportunity to express to you season's greetings and good wishes. May your holidays and new year be filled with happiness!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We are OK and so is our home and our sons. A lot of old buildings are now down or proped up waiting to be repaired. But it is lots of homes that will have to be rebuilt that makes you cry.
