I enjoy all kinds of music, from classical to bluegrass! I play piano and a little banjo. My favorite music to listen to is 50s-60s and Doo Wop.
I love to read and my favorite types of books are historical novels, not to be confused with historical romance. I love to read about different countries and their cultures and especially those written to depict the 1600s through the early 1900s.
I love scrapbooking and have been doing that for about 30 years! I have 4 kids who were mostly grown when I started, so it was a real challenge to get their albums done from birth to graduation! I just went in and counted all the scrapbooks I've done, 35 to date! Now I have learned to make my own scrapbooks from scratch and that is so fun! I love all the pockets, flips and flaps and waterfalls that make them so unique! I love making ATC cards, and now just think those ATC coins are so cute !Also I am a card maker, and I enjoy that so much! All my friends and family wait for a special day and they know they will get a "Linda" original! I also enjoy sewing. I used to make all my clothes, but now I just sew curtains, dish towels, napkins, pillowcases and an occasional tablecloth.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 42 years! We have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. We have children in North Carolina, New York City and Kansas City, Kansas! We spend lots of time on the road to visit kids and grandkids. We are retired and keep very busy!
I sometimes think I was born in the wrong century. I love vintage and retro things, particularly from the mid 1800's to around 1966.
