I have have been paper crafting for 8 yrs. I regularly attend card making classes and really enjoy learning new techniques. Currently, I swap on a regular basis with Pocket Letter Pals and have completed well over 300 swaps. Most enjoyable to me is the level of creative talent that so many people have and are willing to share.
I am very interested in mixed media and hope to try that soon. I have purchased so many crafting supplies, tools and "machines."
I am a Home Health Nurse and see about 50 patients a week, I love, love, love my job. I am also a nursing supervisor. Married (2nd time), 2 children and two grandchildren.
I have a brother that lives in Hawaii and we love to visit. He has homes on two islands so there is always a lot to see and do.
I live in Ohio and enjoy the change of seasons. I spend time gardening, collecting antiques, going to tag sales and auctions. There is always something interesting to do.
The books I typically read are for information pertaining to my job as a nurse. I also enjoy antiques, gardening, interior design, old children's books, early readers, Raggedy Ann, Dick and Jane, cooking and tea party themes.
I prefer working with paper. I am playing with mixed media. (Have a lot to learn). I take card making classes a couple times a month. I also enjoy upcycling found treasures. I love to do altered tins and paint brushes. ATC's are fun too!
I love anything vintage: linens, aprons, hand bags embroidered pillow cases, tea cups, christmas pins, old photos, postcards, dolls, fancy hair pins and buttons, old spice tins.
Fun stuff I enjoy: llamas, rabbits, rubber stamps, ribbon, lace, paper scraps, paper napkins, Valentine cards, Vintage Christmas Cards Halloween cards and stickers, rick rack, bakers twine, bumble bee graphics
Coffee, tea and chocolate.
