Hi my name is Kathy, I live in Missouri City, Texas.
I have not been active on Swap-Bot for a few months - took a break and did some Marie Kondo on my craft room & storage!
Currently I am selling my post card collection, contact me for a great deal 50 cents each! Free Shipping!! Will update later when I have photo's on Flickr.
Swap bot has really provided an opportunity to try new crafting techniques. I try to learn some new thing every week and find the how-to video's on YouTube very helpful. I have a few favorite channels I subscribe to and follow.
While I don't collect stamps, I absolutely love them. I never knew you could purchase collectable stamps at the post office for the same price as those dumb rolls I have been buying for years! Who knew?
I am not a flaker - guaranteed. I have stopped putting extra's in my ATC swap envelopes, because I think the ATC itself is enough of a present, I put a lot of work into them. For stuff the envelope swaps I put something extra special in each envie - in addition to the swap requirements, and hopefully it will be something from your profile wish list. And when I receive your swap - I rate immediately. Because that is important to me too.
Almost all my swaps are ready to complete by the time my "send to" person is assigned. They usually go out the following day. If I don't have something in my stash - I may have to go shopping to find something just perfect for you.

DISLIKE: Non-raters. It makes me sad when I work really hard on a swap project and the recipient doesn't immediately run to their computer one second after they have admired it to post a rating. LOL
DISLIKE: DOLLAR STORE JUNK - I don't like anything from the dollar store. The stickers and note cards are cheap. If you can't afford extra's in the envelope, a short hand written note would be just as nice!
What I do instead of shopping at the dollar store is shop sales at JoAnne's, Michaels and Hobby Lobbby. I bulk purchase stickers when they are 50% off at Hobby Lobby so I can send a brand new package of 2 sheets regularly 1.99 for a dollar. I would prefer one quality thing to an envelope of stuff you don't like and are passing on.
Cool things to find in an "envie" cocktail napkins, washi tape, good quality note cards like Hallmark, naked post cards (old or new) any kind of stickers, humor, vintage photo's, collage, cool used stamps to craft with (noncollectable)
If you make a ATC, APC, inchie or "whatever" and take the time to send it to me, I will value it forever.
My PRIMARY dislike - rude people.
I work very hard to maintain my perfect 5.0 rating. If you do not receive a swap from me, it's been lost in the mail (it happens). Please message me and I will send another. Thank you in advance for your communication on swaps, and thank you for rating! 💖💖💖
Happy swapping to all my friends to come! 😊
