About Me

I am married to my best friend for almost 30 years and have two grown children and one grandchild. We live in Texas. I make jewelry for a living and am currently busy with craft shows. I make jewelry out of all kinds of things! I love to use found objects and often incorporate bits from vintage pieces. My hubby and I like to travel. Our most recent trip was to Hawaii, for the birth of our grand-sugar. Her daddy (our son) is stationed there with the US Navy.

Favorite Music

I love classic rock and contemporary Christian. I also enjoy Praise and Worship music, with Hillsong being my favorite. I love Third Day, Toby Mac, Jeremy Camp, Bebe and Cece Winans, Carman, Mylon Lefevre, Russ Taff, Bryan Duncan,Nicole C. Mullen, The Imperials, and the Katinas.

Favorite Books

I enjoy reading books by C.S. Lewis, Joyce Meyers, and Ravi Zacharias. My favorite novel of all time is "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier.

Favorite Movies

I thought all the Harry Potter movies were marvelous and excitedly await "The Deadly Hallows" part two. I like action adventure and comedy movies. Favorites are: Grosse Pointe Blank, The Back to The Future Series, anything with Mel Gibson, Trading Places, Facing The Giants, Left Behind, Little Giants, Major Payne, Kids movies, John Wayne movies.

Favorite Television

I watch Christian Television. TBN and Daystar are my favorite channels. I also like CSI and Criminal Minds. It is fun to watch cooking shows and I get alot of inspiration from them. We eat low carb, so sometimes I can tweak some of the recipes to fit this diet.

Favorite Crafts

My favorite crafts are Jewelry making( of course), and Polymer clay. I like to use rubber stamps, embossing powders, and paints of all kinds. I enjoy sewing as well. It is fun to use spray paint to transform old or ordinary items with it. I like bottlecaps, stickers, ribbons, and buttons. I have never tried scrapbooking( where would I find the time??) but enjoy using the many wonderful items from the scrapbooking depts of michaels and Hobby Lobby in my jewelry making.

Dislikes

Please do not send me any halloween themed items as this is not a holiday that I celebrate.
