I am 19 and I am brand new at this, but I have been looking for a site such as this one. This sounds fun and I hope to do some swaps soon. Anyways I am really nice, kind of shy and very artsy.
I have a very eclectic taste. I like all sorts of odd and random things. My favorite colors are purple and turquoise. I like bird images, mainly owls, kawaii and Japanese things, fabric, random interesting things I can use for altered art, photographs of interesting buildings, people and trees, poems, books, bookmarks. I also like vintage papers, maps and ephemera from around the world. I do not like tea, coffee and makeup.
I like all types of music, it depends on my mood. Though I do not like a lot of rap.
I love to read, I can read for hours at a time. I mainly read fantasy books, fairies , enchantments, retold fairytales, medieval, romance, etc. I also read manga though I tend to read through those books in one sitting because I become obsessive.
I like all types of arts and crafts. At the moment I am really into making altered books, I am making one for my sister. I also like to paint, draw, sewing and scrapbook. I am also going to start making ATC's.

Hi :) I'm glad you liked the papers and stamps I sent! That makes me happy that you may want to start collecting stamps now! The U.S. postal service has lots of pretty current (and older) commemorative stamps for sale at its site: http://shop.usps.com/ You can probably request the current 42 cent ones at your post office too. My favorite ones right now are the Charles and Ray Eames stamps (chairs/design)... very pretty! :)
Hey Katrina! Just wondering if you received my swap for the '42¢ scrap paper stash swap'... Let me know when you have a chance! :) ~Emily
