I live on a small 55 acre farm in central Kentucky, where we raise saanen dairy goats, 4 dachshund/chihuahua mix dogs, a lab, and a collie, 7 cats and 2 geese. I love the quiet and solitude of living in the country. I work at the University of Kentucky in management (yuck). The positive side is that I have to go to alot of meetings which allows for plenty of good doodle time. On the side I also own and operate a decal and sign business (see artsnacker at etsy and ebay). I love to exchange art. I've been exchanging mail art for almost 20 years. I also love printmaking using gocco and carving soft block or erasers and japanese woodblock printing. I also draw and paint and am interested in digital photography. I love to paint watercolors outdoors. My latest project was building a 120 foot labyrinth out of field stones on our farm.

I like to create and trade ATCs, artist's books, zines, cards and postcards, japanese woodblock prints, eraser carving prints, handmade postcards. I love to draw and paint. I like package design and making boxes. I'm always on the lookout for interesting templates to use to make my own containers, envelopes and boxes. I like to whittle.

I can't sew or crochet so I always appreciate crafts from those who can.

I'm interested in kitschy, odd, unique and interesting retro 1950s -1960s -1970s graphics, odd - unique - handmade items, robots, labyrinths, buddhism, celtic designs, zines of all types, paisleys, trees and flowers, daisies. I'm fascinated with little boxes, tins etc. decals and stickers, christmas ornaments.

Not as interested in commercial cutesy scrapbooking type things, don't listen to hip-hop music, don't like pink 'girlie' stuff.

My favorite animals are chickens & roosters, goats,possums, meerkats, chihuahuas and dachshunds.

I like: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate with liqueur, chocolate with nuts, chocolate with fruit, chocolate with crispies, etc. etc....you get the idea. I love black licorice all the way from American Good and Plenty to international 'salty' licorice. I'm always on the lookout for the newest candy to try.I love sampling international candy and sweets.

MUSIC: I listen to women's music like Chris Williamson, Betty and Laura Love. Also from my younger days as a drummer in an all girl rock band (yeah, didn't work out as we sucked pretty bad) I still enjoy classic rock like Eagles, Boston, Rush and heck even Kiss. When I'm creating, I like to listen to classical music. I also like bluegrass, celtic and folk music.

FAV COLORS: I tend to be attracted to earthy colors: greens, terra cotta, blue-green but enjoy other colors as well.
