Hello!

I was wondering if my card for the Hello Stranger swap has arrived yet. I sent it out Februari 23 and normally mail from The Netherlands to the USA takes about a week till a week and a half. Because you didn't rate me yet, I wasn't sure wether or not you have received it at all.

Kind regards, Moniek

I received two lovely PCs from you, but I can't find the swap they were from! One was a lovely view of the South Carolina Botanical Garden, the other Fort Hill. I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed them!

Hello Ginger! I absolutely adore your name. You are so lucky to have a pet rabbit, I've always wanted one. I also have a dog, he is a chorkie, he may be smaller than your dog but he has a little napoleon complex and thinks he's the same size as your dog and will try to make friends with him. I used to have a betta fish name Ninja, I had him for 3 years, and he helped me through all the moving I had to do until he passed away two years ago. I also enjoy mysterious stories and stories with twisted endings. And I definitely know how you feel about being born in the wrong decade, I'll know songs from way back in the 50s that I've never even heard before. What are some of your other favorite superheroes? I love The Flash. I'm obssessed with Super Mario Bros. I also love to garden, but on a recent trip to TN, my mother let all my plants die. : [ I used to collect dreamcatchers, but I have to make one of my own. I also love your taste in movies. Hope you have a wonderful summer. Happy Swapping!

Leave a nice Comment #3 Hi Ginger, You are about the same age as my daughter, my daughter was born July 1,1983. Isn't being an Aunt GREAT!! I am now a Great Aunt twice. I babysit for my great niece alot but now that will change, they are moving to Charleston, SC next month. I love SC and wish I could live there. I would love to live near the ocean. People in the south are so friendly. I love pen pals like you and also got it from my grandmother!! I have 2 pen pals that I have written to since 1987. One lived in SC and I told my husband in 1994 I just had to go down there and meet her. Thus our first family vacation ever and it was to SC. We went to Myrtle Beach and went there again in 1995. Went to Surfside Beach in 2008, 2009 and 2010. See I told you I LOVE SC!! I have always wanted to learn Caligraphy also. I am really not into sports either but My hubby loves them all. Winter is gloomy here and seems like hubby is always glued to watching football, basketball or some other sport. LOL I love the picture of the shepherd and the lamb. Have a great summer!!

Hi Ginger,

I don't know anybody in South Carolina and will most likely never go there so I think its kinda cool that your personality really comes through in your profile. Thank you!

Homeschoolers here (Australia) are a minority and generally you can only do it if you live in a regional area, but I've always been fascinated by it and would probably homeschool my own kids if I could. I'm guessing it requires a heap of discipline in committing to it- good on you for going all the way!

I'm about your age too (32) and my favourite music is from the '80s. Luckily a lot of the bands that I like from that time are still around or have reformed so are still coming out with hits and touring etc. Not sure how you'd go seeing '60s or '70s artists though!

I'm mad on the Twilight saga but I only own one Sookie Stackhouse novel- but I did see the first season on TV. I'm more into the movie and TV versions of the books I guess. I read and I go to the cinema- not much else to my life, really! In fact, most of my favourite movies were adapted from books. Go figure.

Good on you for putting in a section for your grandma- that's so cute. Has she received some surprises?

Take care,
Andrea
