Hallo! I am a 28 year young German girl, living in the USA. I just got married and I am now a housewife until my paperwork is through. So I have a lot of extra time on my hand to craft, swap and write letters :)

I am in love with mail. Letters, postcards, stamps, used and unused, mail art!! my mail lady, mailboxes.... I love it.

I swap for the joy of making others happy and getting mail myself and not for the rating.

If I participate in penpal swaps, I am actually interested in becoming penpals. I write long, personal letters and I would love to hear back from you :)

Though I haven't had very many cases of lost mail, it seems to happen, so please let me know if my swap did not reach you, thank you :)

Also, please be aware, that my P.O. Box is only 3.5 in x 5 in. If you are sending a larger envelope to me, please write "Do Not Bend" on the outside. (Or they will fold it to fit inside the box.) Thank you!!!

I concentrate on making stationary (or embellish stationary I have), mail art and well..it's not good enough to be called mail art yet..I guess. But I love mail art ;)

For my own wedding, I created a everlasting bridal bouquet (not silk flowers..) and my own invitations. I enjoyed that a lot and I would love to do it for living.

I love to get different stamps, I am collecting them :) I like Spring and Fall, I can't stand the heat. I like the South, have not been anywhere else yet. I like the United States in general, I was dreaming about coming here since I was 14 years old. So I like all "red, white and blue" items such as stickers and so on. I like Germany, it's where I was born, where I grew up and where my family lives and where I met my cow-boy-friend ...now husband.

I like all things mail related, everything.

Postcards: I love love love mail related postcards - mailboxes, mail man/woman, stamps, you would make my day!!! I also like country/cowboy and cowgirl themes. I also like touristy postcards from your home or vacation, please tell me about the postcard in a few words.

I had to get my first one to understand, that I don't want ad-cards. I appreciate to read some more on my card than just the name of the swap. ;) I also don't like anything religious related. I don't like Kawaii, at all. Sorry.

Netflix is a very good friend of mine, because I like to watch whole seasons of TV shows. Currently I am not watching anything, but it used to be Gossip Girl (never thought, I would like it, but I do..), Desperate Housewives, Two and a half man, How I met your mother, Weeds, Malcolm in the middle, Dexter, LOST, Walking Dead and of course ARMY WIVES.

I love to read and listen to Audiobooks. Still reading "Black" from Ted Dekker and I cannot tell you whats going on, bc I have no idea, but I am faszinated ;) Still listen to "Under the dome" from Stephen King. (I wonder, why I don't have time to read anymore ;) I am also reading a few German books. It is taking me forever to finish a book, I will concentrate on reading a little more, now that I have time.

It is very important to me that you know, exchanging letters is one of my most important hobbies to me. Mail connects people and since I am a foreigner in my own country, it is an important way to stay in touch with family and friends and I have learned it is possible to build friendship through letters, too.

I write long, chatty, personal letters and I trust my penpals.

I also like to decorate my envelopes, you might say it's not mail art, but it's art on my mail and you will never get a white envelope from me. If I join a penpal swap it is because I am actually looking for penpals and I really hope, you are, too.
