Hello! My name is Joanne. I have always enjoyed writing letters and cards for my friends. I love to travel. I have not traveled to many places but my goal is to travel to a new country every year (so far I have only traveled to China and Korea.. Australia is my next travel destination.) I loved learning about new cultures and trying new foods.
I love drinking different types of teas and coffee while reading a book.
I keep a paper journal. This is a way that I de-stress at the end of the day. I also keep a grateful journal to celebrate all things big and small in my life/day. UPDATE: I actually stop writing in my journal recently.
I received a "1" rating from DMarcella. She never reached out to me before giving me the rating. She also received a "1" rating for the same swap. Not sure if it is related but I have never flaked on a swap before.
I am an avid AMC A-Lister. My friends and I are watching movies every week. I love watching anything Marvel, romantic comedies, horror/thrillers, heart-warming movies, etc. Some of the most recent movies I enjoyed watching was Parasite, ENDGAME, Breakthrough, Shazam!, Us, How To Train Your Dragon, Inception, Knives Out. UPDATE: Because of COVID-19, I cancelled my AMC account.
I love tea! I always try to drink a cup of tea everyday. I always prefer to drink tea over cofee. Some of my favorites are green teas, white teas, and black teas. I do not like fruity teas and chai teas.
I am really into postcards, have been for a long time. I like most types of postcards but please no free / ad PCs or religious ones unless the swap dictates otherwise. I prefer them to be sent naked just because I enjoy seeing everyone's writing on them and what happens to them when they travel my way.
I love reading books! Some current books that I just finished was Turtles All The Way Down, Me Before You, The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl, The Woman In Cabin 10, The Silent Patient, Everything I Never Told You, and All We Ever Wanted.
One of my goals for the new year was to read at least 2 books a month. I have been really bad at reading these days.
My goal for 2020 is to read 50 books:
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
Where The Crawdads Sing by Deila Ownes

06/23/19: I have finished my first week at my new job! I have finally caught up with rating all the swaps I have received. At this point, there should not be a delay in me rating anything I get in the mail.
06/11/19: I am currently on vacation and I will start a new job on Monday. Sorry for the delay in rating but I will get to it as soon as possible.

If I add a swap to my watchlist, will it notify me later when it is closer to the sign up date? I'd love to continue all these tea swaps with you.
QUICK AND EASY PROFILE HELLO #2
HELLO THERE! I HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING YOUR WEEKEND SO FAR! HAPPY FALL! HAVE A WONDERFUL ONE!
Quick and Easy Profile Hello #2
I tried to read 1984 years ago, but I got a little more than halfway I think and stopped because I couldn't deal with the ending. : ) Maybe one day I'll give it another shot. Driving is the most fun and if you haven't learned yet, keep it on your bucket list. I'd love to do one of those actual like defensive driving classes and learn how to turn REAL fast. Have a great weekend!

Good Morning!!
Wishing you a Blessed Day!! I am From NJ just living in AR with my Husband right now. (we met online and this is where he is from). Our mortgage is what my subsidize rent was in NJ. HAHA. It's so Expensive up North. I spent the first 6 months like a kid in a candy store, yelling at walmart (supercenter) how cheap food was. LOL!! UNTIL our budget got tighter and tighter HAHAHA
Well Hello and Goodbye Hope M. Hello Swap #2
RE: Helen Hoang's books
Yup! I read both of them! =D And totally love them. I'm happy to hear you've already read them. YAY!
Thank you for continuing to host these tea swaps. They are honestly my main source of international teas. =)
