Hello! It's nice to meet friends here, and I'm looking forward to swapping with you. I'm 56 years old, married to Michael since 1985 and mom to two young adults. I've been pen-palling and swapping for nearly 40 years and have always loved it. I work full time and I'm very involved with a ministry called "The Walk to Emmaus". I love my family, my church and my friends...

Summer is my favorite season, and I've always wanted to move back to Hawaii! I lived there for a short time years ago, and it's my favorite place on earth. I love the beach, lighthouses, tropical flowers, palm trees, trade winds, volcanos and anything Hawaiian. My husband thinks I'm trying to buy Hawaii one eBay auction at a time!

I enjoy Christian fiction, Praise & Worship music, exercise and healthy eating, Bible study and pen-palling. I especially enjoy cassette tape letter pals. I spend way too much time on Facebook! Look me up!

I love animals (mostly dogs), quiet time at home and spending time with my family.

Please do not send me any kiddie or reward stickers, dark-themed or evil things, out-of-season holiday items, candy or snacks. I would much rather receive quality over quantity. I'm not into crafts, but I can always use scrapbook supplies for various projects and decorating my snail mail letters.

Overall, I'm very easy to please and almost always enjoy and appreciate everything my swap partners share! Thanks so much, and I look forward to swapping with you.

My wish list includes anything tropical-themed, especially items specifically from Hawaii - I'm obsessed with the islands!

New Collection I've decided to collect map-style postcards from the states and other places.

I also collect miniature water globes, Willow Tree figurines and The Geography Collection drinking glasses by Cat Studio. I enjoy receiving nice stationery, note cards, fridge magnets, stickers and scrapbook supplies. I'm a coffee and tea drinker too. K-Cups are welcome! Love kitchen gadgets, towels and pot holders.

My favorite animals are dogs, pandas and giraffes.

I believe in sending swaps that I would like to receive. In other words -- I treat people the way I'd like to be treated. If I'm hosting a swap, I promise that no one will be flaked or stiffed - If I can't personally angel a flake, I will find someone who will. I also promise to rate all the swaps I receive, and to give people the benefit of the doubt, though there shouldn't be any doubt! I freely give out hearts when they're deserved, but will also hold swappers accountable for not honoring the spirit of a swap.

I ask that if ever anyone has any questions or concerns about my swaps, to please let me know. I will always assume positive intent, unless shown otherwise.

Jacqui - flaked "Warm & Fuzzy Socks" swap that I hosted. I angeled the swap.

Swtbrandy (Brandy D) - flaked me on BeAuTy-N-A-BoX swap. Very sad to never have heard a word from this swapper. Nothing.

haightashbury2 (Cala of San Diego) - flaked a new Swap-bot member in my Christmas Re-Gift swap. Said she sent the swap, but it was never received and never resent. Very flippant attitude in her emails. Disappointing, to say the least. I angel-ed the swap.
