I'm a 24 year old living in New England (north-east region), USA. I'm close to the coast and love to walk the beach. I enjoy keeping busy, but savor my downtime. I can be out and about singing at karaoke or hiking the local trails or I can be sitting on my window seat reading a book or in a field meditating. I try to keep my schedule full of variety.

I love serendipitous moments.

I'm a collector. Nature and nurture have me cornered here; both my parents and three of my grandparents are pack-rats. I'm learning the zen of only being a collector and so far I've had much success.

I'm a geek. I'm a recently outed anime fan. I read and collect comic books (indie/local/mainstream). I play video and computer games. Strategy games are my number one pick, but I'm not adverse to other gaming. Board games are always up for play; Scrabble, Scattergories, Carcassonne, UNO, the choices are always expanding.

The random. I collect some runs of fast-food restaurant toys. I only own "fun" socks, okay I own a few pairs of plain socks for formal/business attire purposes.

To sum me up, I'm me.

• Cats. I've had cats my entire life. I don't have a cat of my own at the moment; my housemate has three. Found out I'm allergic as of July of 2007. That doesn't mean I love them any less, I just try to avoid long hairs as much as possible.

• Koi/Goldfish. There's something calming about a fish tank. Only two fish for now. Adding some friends soon and starting a microreef.

• Koalas! You could say I have an intense love for koalas. My stuffed koala collection alone comes in at an under estimated 43, that's just what I have in storage. I'm two-thirds of the way done with my koala tattoo, four and a half hours so far.

• Little lizards (i.e. geckos/newts). I don't own any lizards, but one of my friends has that more than covered since he raises geckos and snakes.

• Rubber ducks. My second animal obsession.

• Penguins.

I like to mix it up.

Folk, Sixties & Seventies, Rock (primarily Alternative), some showtunes, Dance/House, comedy (i.e. Stephen Lynch & Flight of the Conchords).

Absolute Favorites: Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Tegan & Sara, Vanessa Carlton, K.T. Tunstall, Lisa Loeb, Incubus, Ben Kweller, & Pink.

Not that I have much of a chance to watch television, but when I do have the chance these are what I gravitate to most often.

CSI, CSI: NY, Dexter, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Scrubs, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Project Runway, Heroes, Top Chef, So You Think You Can Dance

I love art of nearly any and all kinds. My primary creative focus being collage and photography. I have a plethora of scrapbook supplies and am slowly but surely using them.

I sign up for swaps I have interest in, so anything I receive is happily accepted.

I'm not a fan of black licorice or coffee (I am a fan of teas and chais) but know many people who will gladly take those items off my hands if I ever receive them.
