I am married with 1 daughter and 2 grandkids. I work full time and am my hubbies' caretaker. I love swapping but sometimes taking care of my hubby gets in way of my rating,ect. A gentle reminder please when I am late on rate.

I'm a Christian. I like sewing with fabric creating quilts out of other people's left overs. I'm a Girl Scout leader going on 18 years now. I now work with 2 troops.. My 9th grade girls and help out with my granddaughter and her fellow Daisies.

I like the music from the 70's, ethic music and christian .

When I watch tv, it is CSI type shows. Trying to figure out how they do the lab work intrests me.

Crafts....love to create with my hands. sewing quilts is my main one right now. I love all colors except for the socalled country look. Brights and kid noveity prints speak to me now. Maybe cause I'm doing a lot of premie quilts for the hospital.

When not sewing, I crochet baby sweaters for midwife kits and alfghans for furture gifts. I also knit loom hats for kids in need.

I like to do crazy quilting with beads, lace & ribbons ect but that is in the summer. The cold here makes my hands hurt too much then.

I took up painting after becoming an empty nester. Most of my paintings are from vacation pictures from National Parks near South Dakota. I'm still use film. Love what I can do with a camera .

I noticed other have a list of prefered and not wanted stuff so here goes my list.

prefered stuff:

fabric ...love brights but need background colors I keep picking up the eye candy of fabric

crafty stuff: love beads, buttons, yarn, ribbons..if it is crafty I love it

postcards..love them. I want to travel but life says no so postcards do it form me

state spoons...got an almost finished US collection.

state keychains...a new collection

Not wanted stuff: I have tons of perfume allergies so only the following is ok for me...vanilla, cinamon If it is from flowers ...it is a nono for me.

any thing containing coffee...it is death for me..:( Now, peanuts have become a no-no... no more peanut butter patties GS cookies for me..:(

Please no santas. I like all the other critters that go with Christmas but not santa.
