About Me

Hi! I'm a longtime swap addict who got out of swaps for a while. I miss my days of pen pals, friendship books, sticker swaps, crochet swaps and the like, so I'm hoping to find a few good swaps to join in!

I am a 43 year old Christian lady, and I live in Texas. I don't have children, but I have a dog and 2 cats. Molly is a 10 year old chihuahua/doxie mix. My kitties are Daisy and Penny. And, as embarrassing as it can be, I treat them just like kids. I love to read, write, watch movies, crochet, and spend time with friends and family.

I have a degree in English, specializing in Shakespearean drama, and have worked a myriad of jobs, from telemarketing to newspaper editor...and I STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up!

Favorite Books

I'll read anything except horror, sci-fi, or porny stuff. (And, yes, I make up words.)

Favorite Movies

I love anything with Audrey Hepburn or Judy Garland in it. Or Grace Kelly, Cary Grant, and several others. I love Hunger Games, Harry Potter, anime (but I'm newish to it), musicals, family films, animated films.

I just really love movies.

Favorite Television

Downton Abbey, Foyle's War, West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Mad Men, MASH, anything on the Food Network, Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, Ab Fab, Impractical Jokers

Favorite Crafts

Crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, knitting, sketching, doodling, painting

Likes

Anything kawaii, cute, pink, girly

Stationery, stickers, gel pens

Coffee, jazz, writing, cool weather, autumn, long drives, hugs

Dislikes

Horror, sci fi, bugs, anything to do with the macabre, rudeness, flakers, ham, snakes, did I mention bugs?, disrespect, crazy assumptions

Comment: You really had me going Lauren!! I read the first paragraph, then the last paragraph, then the address. It wasn't until I focused on the date that I knew what was going on. I truly believed I had received a letter from Lady Elizabeth of Brantham Manor. Awesome swap!

you won't believe it! Today - TODAY I got your April letter - in my first bodybag :p the envie was all black and ripped on the top, I think the machine ate it. :p
