I am 27 years old and I teach junior high mathematics in Bakersfield California. (math: crazy junior highers: double crazy i know)

But i also love beautiful ,simple creations.

I LOVE rich jewel tones especially turquoise.

I am NOT a fan of hunter green!

I love to embroider, crochet. I CREATE.

I love little birdies, penguins, owls.

Favorite Music

I love folky music, singer songwriter, musicals, r&b, classical, wlico, kings of leon.... i like it all BUT rarely do i like american idols or country (...thats bad news for kelly pickler).

i love reading!!!! - some of my fav authors: jane austin, nick hornbey, kate chopin, jhumpa lahiri, malcolm gladwell, alice walker, maya angelou, c.s. lewis,

Favorite Movies

geez, i can no sooner choose a favorite star in the sky!!!!!

I love comedies, love stories, independent films, foreign films....

My taste is VERY eclectic! My top three movies of all time are: three amigos, cinema paradiso, love actually.

Favorite Crafts

I love to craft!!! I just love it

  • Yarns: I taught myself to crochet and I love yarns! -Beads: I love beads and buying them, especially brightly colored/ great color combo ones. Antique golds/brass are my favs right now!
  • Fabrics: I love to embroider and since i don't have a machine, i hand sew a lot of my items
  • I am earning money through my etsy store to earn myself a sewing machine! Then i can sew to my hearts content!!
  • Paper: I am not a scrap-booker but i love all the embellishments/papers for card making/envelopes/tags/other paper goods!
