How she describes it in the modern day is pretty much how it is. I went there for an overnight trip in January. (we're LSU fans and it was for the championship game). The next day we still got a chance to traverse all over the Garden District. Even though she no longer owns the house, I still went by it. I also visited the Cemeteries. I would love to live there!!
Anne Rice-- I am a HUGE fan of hers. I've been to her house twice in NOLA and I've met her twice on 2 separate book signings!! I own all but one of her books...the 2nd Angel Times.

I was asleep when the mail came today, but when I awoke and my husband said I got some "fun mail" today, he gave me your bottle! Yeah, it looked fun! He said our 2 year old daughter Gracie had wanted to open it when it arrived, so I called her up on the bed with me and we opened it together. She LOVED it as much as I did, I think! It was all so wonderful and such a wonderful Valentine's themed bottle. I can't tell you enough what a pleasure it was. Your letter was so sweet, and I enjoyed it, too.
