4/22/13 I'll be checking forums and messages and such, but until I get moved back in with my parents, and get my life straightened out, my swapping is on hold.

I have always enjoyed swapping books, crafts, etc with people. I'm still in college working on my History and English degree. After my undergrad I plan to get a Masters in Library Science and become a Children's Librarian!

I have a crazy obsession with loose teas from The Spice and Tea Exchange. Coconut Oolong, Orange Dulce, Orange Smoothie. mmmmmm

I also really like the Lipton Triangle tea bags. Let's see, what else-I love trying Tazo, Numi, and Yogi teas. Pretty much, I will try anything at least once! Honey stirrers are love :)

I am an avid Young Adult book reader. I especially like Paranormal fiction/Dark Fantasy. Some of my favorites include: Suzanne Collins, Richelle Mead, Melissa Marr, Maggie Stiefvater, Alyxandra Harvey. And there are some newer YA authors that I am in love with!

But I will read just about anything. Children's Books: Mo Willems' Elephant and Piggie series. Kevin Henkes, Amy Hest, OLIVIA!!!!!

Years ago, I discovered and fell in love with the original Grimm's Fairy Tales-not the cutesy, nice ones we see from Disney, etc. I like the fact that they were originally dark and not so much on the 'happily ever after.' (I don't particularly like happy endings in books.) In the same vein, I am a fan of modern re-tellings of fairy tales. Right now, I am on a Baba Yaga kick. I am especially fond of Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast.

My music tastes vary so much. It all just depends on my mood.

Dawn of the Dead, Princess Bride, Empire Records, Resident Evil series, 300, 27 Dresses, Juno, Nightmare Before Christmas, Devil Wears Prada... as you can see, it is quite varied.

Vanilla scented anything! Just...no. Bubble bath stuff. I'm not a big fan of beads either, but I'll not turn em away.
