Hello there!
I am Mieke, 34 years old, living in Belgium. I am married and a mother of 3 little children (6y, 3y, 2y). Due to medical issues I cannot work, so I stay home with my children and try to raise them the best I can. My husband is very sweet and such a good father. I think we do pretty well. ;)

I am an converted muslima. Seven years ago I became a muslima. It seems like yesterday. I learn more and more about myself each day. I think that is what islam stands for: educating and developing yourself in trying to be a good person and by doing that worshipping the one and only God.

Since I was a child I loved beading, crocheting, sewing etc. I have collected craftbooks since I can remember. The thing is that I started projects so many times and hardly ever finished them. SB turns out to be good for me, since I do finish my projects now. It makes me very proud, very active and let my creativity flow. Thank you, fellow-swapbotters, for that!

Colors

I think I like a lot of colors. I am not that much into upperbright yellow and darkdark black. But if you are sure you can make something very nice in yellow and/or black: surprise me!
My favorite colourcombo (craftwise) of this moment is pink/grey.
I usually wear bright colors, like strong pink, bold turqoise etc. I will never wear black clothes only, I nééd colour!
