I tend to like a lot of different types of music. My favorites include classical composers, 1920s Jazz, and progressive and classic rock.

I love books. The older the better! And altered books are pretty esteemed by me. My favorite books of all time is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Otherwise, I can't list favorites because I have too many! I'm truly a bibliophile.

This changes all the time. Currently: The Kings Speech.

I am a sucker for Grey's Anatomy, House MD, Nurse Jackie, Bones, Rizzoli and Isles, Body of Proof, and Lie to Me.

I am just getting into art journaling. I have a love affair with paper - I like the touch of the different textures of paper. I also love to scrap book. I love collage too. I like working with discarded materials. I enjoy oil paints and cross stitch a lot also. I am fascinated by collaborative projects!

Hmmm... Me?! I am an art therapist. Giving joy to others is my favorite source of my own personal joy. I'm happily married and the proud "parent" of a German Shepherd.

I love to learn! It is a huge defining factor of who I am. However, I am horrible at spelling.
I also love to travel. My father always said "Don't let school get in the way of your education" and he would pull us out of school for trips to fabulous cultural places.

I'll start by saying I like surprises, so I am hesitent to write what I like... but I've found it helpful on my partners profiles so here is my list, feel free take it or leave it as you see fit (although make note of what I don't like please!).

Postcards of art. And orignials of art too! Printmaking. Black and white photography.
Lace trim.
Buttons!
Anything Martha Stewart.
Thicker scrapbooking paper (not cardstock, but not flimsy).
Stencils.
Recipes and cook books. Fancy stationary.
Seeds for gardening! Vintage paper or lace or images. Graffatti or Tattoo inspired. Anything that can be used in an art journal.

Dislikes: Anything that smells like smoke - I have asthma and it will go right into the trash!!! what a waste! Kawii.

• I don't mind religious art - particularly since churches were patrons of the arts so there is a lot of it in art history - and I am accepting of most religious beliefs, but please don't send anything "preachy".
