Hi, I'm Danielle. I joined swap-bot a decade ago and forgot all about it. I like meeting new people and have swapped on other sites in the past. I'm back here because I'd love to do it again!

Some basics about me: I’m an early 80’s baby, or as I like to say, geriatric millennial (Xennial, I’m on the cusp). I’m also a Libra and while not too serious about it, I do have quite a few stereotypical Libra traits. I’m Puerto Rican and very serious about it. 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

I’m a wife, daughter, my mom’s full time caregiver, & fur mom. I’ve got two small rescue dogs, Magnolia (Maggie) and Roxanna (Roxy) & a cat, Furguson. Yes, like in New Girl. Those 3 little monsters, as well as my 18 nieces and nephews, bring me a lot of joy. I’ve wanted to be a parent since preschool, and my wife and I are on a quest to add children to our family.

Some things I love the most outside of the above are: sunshine, the ocean, plants and more plants, learning, reading, science, 🧬, hiking, community, justice, advocacy, and LIBERATION. Kindness over niceness. I am spiritual, and was raised super Catholic but am not deeply religious.

My educational background is in biology and my second career is as a social worker for youth experiencing homelessness.

Random likes: Little cafes, coffee, Earl grey and non-flowery herbal tea, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and Japanese foods are my favorites, soft, fuzzy socks (no wool or acrylic though), silly socks, Disney, Sanrio, impressionist art, my favorite colors are turquoise and pink

I like lots of different music genres from pop, hip hop, reggaeton, bachata, alternative and nu-metal, to classical and instrumental.
